1982.

The closest George Webb's is 188 miles away. I looked.

I figured that had to be it.

There's a Webbs about a mile from me and they're open 24 hours.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I've always had a soft spot for Webbs, but if I lived near a Webbs, I wouldn't bother to stand in line to get a voucher for a free burger.

It's a voucher? In 2018 you got the burger right away (there were lines of course)

According to MJS, it was a voucher. But they're all franchises, so I'm guessing that if they wanted to just serve it then, they could.

Yeah it could vary. I know some of them gave out vouchers after they ran out of burgers. Some probably just do vouchers.

My oldest daughter turned 18, had a five course dinner at Gary Danko, and the Brewers have the best record in the majors.

Pretty good for a Monday. I am blessed.

It looks like in 1987 the actual burgers were given away. In 2018 it was a combination of burgers and vouchers

n 1987, the Brewers surpassed that number with a 13-game winning streak. The team's 12th in a row happened on Easter Sunday. As a result, George Webb Restaurants handed out almost 170,000 free hamburgers. To meet the demand, Webb ordered more than 25,000 pounds of ground beef and went through 2,868 pounds of onions in addition to 367,180 slices of pickles.

Milwaukee won another 12-straight games in October 2018, which once again meant free hamburgers for fans. In 2018, George Webb served up 90,000 burgers and handed out 100,000 free burger vouchers.

If Milwaukee wins 12-straight games with a victory against the Mariners on Tuesday night, George Webb will announce a specific day and time for the free burger giveaway.

What’s the deal with Siegler? We really don’t have a better DH option

I mean, normally I feel it’s Yelich, but Perkins is off and Frelick is out. But normally the depth in the outfield is there to keep Yelich at DH. When Hoskins gets back, him or Vaughn will likely be the “2nd” DH you’d think, right?
