Mohamed Diawara: Should The Knicks Sign Him To A Standard Contract VIA The "Second Round Exemption" ?

Post#122 » by OrangeBlueSkies » Tue Jul 22, 2025 3:18 pm

The guy is giving real serious flashes of Pascal Siakam with his ability to push the ball up court, make the correct read, while knocking down open jumpers. He has incredible size & athleticism at 6'8, combined with a ridiculous wingspan of 7'4.

Would you be happy if we signed him to a standard deal, VIA the second-round exemption. This would also allow us to maximize our assets, or ability to create/collect assets.

He looks like he could be that good or better, of course if he matures and improves his shooting. With Yabu and Mo D, we'd be a much tougher, more physically imposing team. That would help on D and give us more options on offense.
