I really don't think in the modern NBA you can have a bench lineup made up of 3/5 non-shooters, especially if the other 2 players are average shooters at best. Wouldn't get the Simmons move unless theres more to come

I think he has a much more clear path to playing time there, then he will here. They'll probably be somewhat competitive in the play in race and he can maybe play himself into a bigger deal next year.
With us he's basically going to be a 10-20 minute a night defensive specialist who can up the pace a bit on offense.

Didn't Kendall leave Simmons to date Booker ?
Wonder if that would factor into teaming up with him in PHX?
I'd love Simmons off the bench for us though
he could be a good fit next to Deuce and Clarkson off the bench
Just have to avoid having him and Mitch on the floor together since Hack-a-Mitch/Simmons would be a nightmare situation
