Incredible what a new hitting coach will do to these hitters. Too bad Shatkins didn't realize this earlier.

The vibes are good so nobody wants to be negative but yeah people need to talk about it. He is on pace for 20 HRs in his age 26 season.

They tried giving Mattingly more autonomy last season and be a co-hitting coach with Guillermo Martinez. But they were both trash.

Horriblex swing at the changeup he had no idea what was coming… I will forever miss 2021 Guerrero, I don’t think we’ll ever see him again.

For sure that HR total was inflated playing in minor league parks.

It not the parks, there’s just something wrong with his swing and timing now. He can’t get the ball in the air, his swing is too flat. That one bloop single he had a fastball down the middle and instead of driving it he sliced it. It’s a swing issue with him.

I would be more excited if vlad was back to hitting homers but his power is worse than ever

Not sure Loperfido does any better there, Weaver is nasty

Good usage of him by Boone in the end, bet they ask him to pitch the 8th too

Decent contact by Straw and Kirk that inning. Just didn't get the BABIP luck.

I don’t think vladdy doesn’t want to do well, I just don’t think hes got the right influences to really get him to make the proper changes to his swing.
