Oh my god that’s terrible about Bondom… I had no idea. Prayers to his family.

Yeah, I don’t know where he’s even going to find minutes in that rotation.

I never typically do that but I wanted to do it this year because one of the posters who used to do it on here passed away around the start of this year. Bondom34 was a mod and longtime good poster on these boards, sadly never got to see OKC win a championship.
Anyway, I felt like people may not have noticed his passing. When we don't see longtime posters on here we might simply think they moved on with life. But some are dedicated here to the end.
I just wanted to post this to let people know. But also to acknowledge that we are all real people that show up to post on these boards and I thank you for chatting about basketball with me to a degree that would make no sense to 99% of the people that know me in life.
man, that's tough to hear. thanks for letting us know.

“Summer League has not helped Knecht’s stock, and I don’t think at this point he is valued as a first-round pick, in terms of an asset valuation. That was what I heard in Vegas from talking to multiple people, non-Lakers people, just gauging what would you give for Dalton Knecht? Or if the Lakers are putting Dalton Knecht in a trade, what is he worth? And the feedback I got was, no longer worth a first-round valuation.”

I think this board collectively reached that conclusion long ago.

Most of us, yet we still see some Lakers fans thinking they can extract solid players for him

Is there something kind of 3 team, Lauri to Minnesota trade that makes sense? I have always loved his fit with Rudy and I think he would open a lot for Edwards.

Think he cost too much for them. Spurs still makes the most sense to me

Well, I think 2-3 seconds with expiring salary usually can get a decent backup. So I would imagine that Knecht + one of Maxi/Vincent could return a rotation player. I am not enamored with Knecht and he is a bad fit with some of our young players, but I'd probably send Kyle Anderson for Knecht + filler. I think Phoenix would have to consider something like Allen for Knecht + Maxi.

Seems short sighted to ignore a rookie 60 % true shooting season. Might of tanked his value so much he going to be there for opening day of the season now

Very short-sighted.
But then, value is determines by what the seller is willing to move a player for and what the buy is willing to give. Only need one buyer to value him on the rookie season over 5 summer league games.

Not until they can move Julius or Naz. So definitely not this summer.
Not sure they have the pieces either without trading McDaniels and I wouldn’t move him personally.

He's absolutely not but I'm not sure given his offensive limitations how many rotation spots where out there for himSlava wrote:K_chile22 wrote:Okogie to Houston on the minimum. Yeah, I don’t know where he’s even going to find minutes in that rotation.

Really sorry to hear the news about Bondom.
As someone else who kinda disappeared (life stuff got in the way of my engagement here and I needed to take an extended break, though I have been reading up on here again), I understand how some might worry when they don't see a poster for some time, while others may not even notice. The internet can be like that.
Hoping all my fellow Mods and posters I've engaged with in the past are doing well and my condolences and thoughts are with the ones we've lost inc. Bondom.

Warriors and Rockets need to get together and swap some end of the bench guys, we have eight thousand guards and our only reserve forward is Gui Santos

You also have to remember that these anonymous source reports are a free opportunity for scouts and low level execs to just talk ****. However, I do think lakers are better off holding onto him and let him improve his stock until they see where Reaves’ free agency goes.

Does Malcolm Brogdon have anything left in the tank? I think if the Nuggets can squeeze him in as their backup PG, that would put a pretty bow on the off-season.

Are you seriously offering a negative overpaid Simons and throwaway seconds for Ivey?

19.3 ppg 4.8 apg for a player under expiring contract is not a bad deal, imho
