Yeah Back to the Beginning was basically Ozzy's Wake. How many people get to attend their own Wake? I think it sucks that we have celebrations of life for dead people, it would be so great to honor more people while they're alive. Hopefully Ozzy showed us a better way. Dude had been changing the world for the better his whole life.

An absolute legend. Every time I saw him live was a religious experience for me.

I’m blessed to have seen Ozzy twice. Once as Black Sabbath and once as his post Sabbath band.

See your heroes while you can. Only get so many opportunities.

I'm just very, very glad he got to experience that outpouring of love and respect before he passed.

Same. Saw Sabbath and saw Ozzy solo (on Halloween, crazy night).
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Ozzy and Randy reunited, RIP Legends.

I wore out my vinyl copy of Blizzard of Ozz that I got for my 12th birthday.

“Tears fill my eyes when I hear all the cries
For the reason today.”

Leave me alone, don't want your promises no more
'Cause rock and roll is my religion and my love
Won't ever change, may think it's strange
I'm born to rock and roll, I need to stay…
Shoot, Move, and Communicate...

Spoiler:

I'm just here for my own amusement,"don't take offense at my innuendo..."

Countless waze, we pass the daze...

A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.

To this day, I still sing the first line of the 2nd verse to Paranoid the way I heard it as a kid: "A day dong I ding dong dings but nothing seems to satisfy"

Need to add a few more.

Saw Hozier and The Lumineers at Amfam Amphitheater-Summerfest.

On deck:
Clipse - Eagles Ballroom
Alabama Shakes - High Life Theater
The Black Keys - BMO Pavilion

All in the comfy confines of Milwaukee, WI, USA.
Going to see Lumineers and Vance Joy here in DC pretty soon. Sort of weird connection, but my wife's cousin is a childhood friend of Vance Joy so we usually try to go see him and occasionally hang out when he's in the US and in this case, wife is a huge Lumineers fan so this worked out very well for us

My dad has seen DMB probably like 100 times and I've seen them a handful myself, including the acoustic Dave & Tim Reynolds shows. If you're into super extended jams during songs and whatnot, they really are just incredibly talented musicians.

My brother and mom have seen Coldplay a handful of times too and while I've never gone myself, they do have some really special songs and I know they put on a hell of a show.

Incredible bummer but man did that dude live life to the fullest, both good and bad.

This reminded me of the incredible T-Pain cover of War Pigs from a few years ago

He's from Melbourne, as is my wife and her cousins. He actually sang at her cousin's wedding 5 or so years back
