Varsho may have swing and miss in his game, but he does one thing well that the Jays absolutely need more of, especially with Guerrero being content with having Luis Arraez's offensive profile rather than trying to hit for power. The Jays need more home runs. Santander's injury really hurts. Hopefully they add a power bat at the deadline.

4 appearances in 5 days when in the first 3 appearances the Jays were leading by 4, 3, and 3 respectively. Atkins needs to add like 2 closers at the deadline to hopefully make the usage a bit more logical. The Jays aren’t blowing teams out so they’ll need more leverage guys so Schneider doesn’t work the same 3 relievers into the ground.
