generically, they make the most sense for every team in the league

That said, Deni is the best value/production in the NBA outside of rookie deals and it's not close. Blazers traded a lottery and a mid frp for him, and his value has increased with his play since then. This isn't a deal they'd consider.

They would if the team stays at the bottom this year.
Bane got traded for 4 1sts. OP is very close to that value.

Then at minimum, don’t dilute the value by adding Grant in the offer. Adding Grant is the equivalent of sacrificing receiving more 1sts. If we re-start the rebuild, there is absolutely no reason to do that. But as it stands, there is no plans to re-start the rebuild, so at this time, the only Deni trades that would be considered are true overpays or make sense with the direction we are currently going.

Nope. If they're bad they might shop Deni for picks, sure. But bad teams don't spend to get rid of contracts when they don't have cap issues.

That’s interesting perspective given that is what Utah just did. The argument is pretty clear if Portland can progress then they may become a playin team but alot more likely they are in the lottery. Eventually Deni’s deal will lose value due to him having to be extended or renegotiated similar to Lauri.

Utah got a pick sending out Collins. Not sure what you are on about, you are justifying the low price on Deni as the cost of getting rid of grant. That's not close to what Utah did. It ain't happening man.
Unless you mean sexton, and it was a second rounder which is basically nothing.

I completely understand why Portland doesn’t want to trade Deni he is a great player on a great contract not to mention they gave up real assets to get him.
I have not mentioned Grant because I wouldn’t take back his bad contract preferably. But like I mentioned Portland similar to Utah has a good all star level on a great deal. Problem is similar to Utah (Lauri) if Deni is your best player you are not going far and currently he is easily their best player.
Deni has three years left on his deal and then he will hit free agency because it is unlikely he will extend given the descending salary. So my question is does Portland trust the guys on the team to be better than Deni or are they comfortable being a treadmill.
Regarding the Jazz selling parts they held on to Clarkson, Sexton, Collins and likely Lauri too long. You mentioned Sexton having to be moved with a 2nd to take on terrible Nurkic deal. But also framed the Collins trade as a win while they only recouped the 2nd they sent out.

Porland is at the point in the rebuild where they need to see results. Scoot was the centerpiece of the rebuild and they picked up Holiday to go with Grant (and Lilliard for next year) to give Scoot, Sharpe, Avdija, Camara, and Clingan a chance to show they are an NBA core. This is no longer the acquisitions phase for Portland. Unless they are blown away by the value, they shouldn't be trading the core 5 listed above.
So, blow them away if you want Avdija. But it's just the wrong point in the rebuild for trading the best performing core piece on the roster. And, if Scoot can't play at a high NBA level and no one else steps up, they still have a couple of years to listen to offers for Avdija.

Memphis in a better situation just traded Bane - their core piece. So I don’t believe Avdija is untouchable.

you'd need to offer an overpay like orlando did for bane, and OP isnt an overpay

I offered 4 1sts in the middle of conversation for Avdija, no Grant. I believe it is a strong offer.

didnt see it, dont think aldama or GG would fetch a 1st on their own. Also are you including PHX 1st?
