Line up has to be Yabu or Simmons. Can't have two small guards starting together. And when I say start I don't mean Yabu or Simmons would play 32 mpg. More like 20 for Yabu and 15 minute for Simmons

Brunson 6'2
Bridges 6'6
OG 6'7
Yabu 6'8
Towns 7'0

We desperately need Simmons as another 6'10 body to throw out there. We have a short bench

Duece 6'1
Clarkson 6'3
Hart 6'4

Only Mitch is 7'0 at least Simmons gives some size and versatility.

We just saw a team that routinely put out 5 guard lineups (many of which had the best defensive rating for the team) win the championship. Height isn’t the end all be all.

If Deuce doesn’t start, we better be switching a lot and playing some zone (with KAT n Mitch). Can’t be having Mikal chasing pg’s thru screens all over again.

I think we should def sign Simmons, low risk high reward. And he should start and also be staggered with 2nd unit minutes.

Mitch didn’t start any of those games. So 20 mpg off the bench is great for him :D

But it’s worth noting that, during the free-agency process, the Knicks valued Yabusele’s versatility off the bench behind a starting lineup featuring Towns and Robinson. Yabusele was signed before Brown was hired, and, obviously, the new head coach will ultimately decide the starting lineup/rotation for New York. But the fact that the Knicks factored in Yabusele’s role behind a starting lineup featuring Towns and Robinson tells you that there is some internal support for that starting five.

Haha

Can't wait to see if Mike brown will be able to run his high octane offense with 2 slow ass centers..

No team in the world is starting two 7 footers much less the NBA..one that has no offense, and one that has no defense

Yeah the team that won the championship this year didn't start two 7 footers.

One of my favorite plays of that series!

Its too bad 3pac is prolly still too young to be a starter(and maybe never talented enough) cause we could really use a player of his profile to insert in the starting lineup.

I dont think any of our players, outside of mitch, who struggles staying healthy, are the ideal fit to start. And even mitch is kinda a situational starter.

Honestly, the 5th starter should be flexed depending on match ups until 3pac ascends to superstardom or Bron signs on the minimum.

This seems like a good idea but unfortunately, Thibs would never do that fortunately, Brown might give it a try.
