Good article. Also cool to read how he seems to be pretty close buds with Kon, adds an interesting dynamic.

That dude has some humongous legs. Hopefully he gets run in Charlotte next year. We need toughness and strength as much as anything else.

He looks like a grizzled nba vet. Someone Memphis would draft

True facts, their physical advantage is why Memphis almost always demolishes us.

I like that he and Kon both like football. The Panthers needs to set them up and help them feel welcome.

James looks like a Marvel superhero…dang he’s built like a tank. I was a bit surprised when he was drafted, but he’s got every bit the potential and opportunity to carve out an NBA career here. I want nothing but great success for all these dudes (of course) but it would be really awesome to see Kalkbrenner be the surprise big man of the draft, with James being a shocking reserve success by the later part of the year.

I’m expecting him to see lots of Swarm time given the haul of guards already in town. Perhaps Liam as well. I want Kon and Kalk to be getting minutes with the Hornets. A lot depends on how they fit in early. I expect Sexton to start beside Melo, but hard to say how any of this plays out.

British Buzz noted on X that these inflated rosters can hang around until October. Maybe the consolidation trade(s) happen as late as during training camp. With Mann, Sexton, Kon, Ditty, Conn, Sion….and on and on….some folks gotta get outta here.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Watching Sion in SL, he will clearly be spending most of his time with the Swarm. With the veteran guard glut we have plus Kon and McNeeley, James just needs to hone his skills and next level IQ at Greensboro. He seems redundant now, but after some of these guards move on later this year or next offseason, could be a place for him in Charlotte.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Really good defender. With some refinement on offense, I think there’s a role for him.
