Milwaukee out: Kuzma
Milwaukee in: Williams, Vincent, 2nd(s) from CHI
Chicago out: Williams, 2nd(s)
Chicago in: Vanderbilt, Kleber
LAL out: Vanderbilt, Vincent, Kleber
LAL in: Kuzma
Why for Milwaukee: add couple 3/D players (in name at least) for Giannis
Why for Chicago: save money/get out of williams deal. Vanderbilt fits well with their stretch 5's
Why for LAL: free up roster space/room under apron for more productive ring chasers/buyout candidates down the road. Get Vanderbilts contract off the books for 2027 FA

Re: Chicago - Milwaukee - LAL
Seems pretty bad for the Lakers and certainly questionable at best for the Bucks.
Kuzma just isn't very good. I'm doubtful that he's even a credible rotation option for a non-tank team at this point. I don't see the Lakers moving for him. If he can stay healthy (granted a big if) Vanderbilt's the type of high-energy defender that the Lakers really need and I'm not sure Vincent's less useful than Kuzma.
The Bucks move Kuzma but take on Williams 4-year contract. He's also perhaps more of a PF than Kuzma and the Bucks need more help at PG/SG/SF (Giannis, Turner and Portis are probably their 3 best players covering the PF/C minutes).
The Bulls trade Williams for a better player on a better contract (and Williams has about as many injuries as Vanderbilt) just for taking on Kleiber for this year. Even waiving him this is a win for the Bulls.

Sorry Op ... As much as I like "King Kuz" this is not happening, as long as Ledrama is on the team, King Kuz is not happening.
Maybe when his gone we can re think this
, if you know, you know
Also most Laker fans like Vando no ready to get rid of him just yet. If he fails this year, maybe next off season, we'll trade him.

Bulls and Lakers do this IMO, Bucks shouldn't...
Kuzma was terrible last year, but he's shown years where he fits the concept, PatWill never did, next year Kuzma is expiring, they are below the 1st Apron and can use him is a S&T.

Re: Chicago - Milwaukee - LAL
I like Kuz and he's definitely better than what he has shown in Washington and Milwaukee but I'm not sure where he even plays in our log jam of 4s. LeBron is a starter at 4 and Rui is a high end back up, if he is not himself starting and pushing LeBron down to 3. Laravia seems to be a player who plays best a position up too and Luka is going to be guarding 4s a lot.

I value Vando above Kuzma.
I think it's especially better for Vando to be on this Lakers team than Kuzma..Lakers need impact guys that don't need to score.

Its hard to gauge this because all the players involved are just so bad. I suppose its fair enough

Idea is they can upgrade elsewhere via the 2 open roster spot/room under the apron.

Waste of time for the Bulls. They don't have any desire to give up any of their few SRP's to move Williams.
Kleber is nothing and Vanderbilt is just going to back up Buzellis the bookkeeping on Williams isn't worth the trouble

Both players are better than Williams, the Bulls absolutely say yes.
What are you on about?

Thats where Gabe+Maxi deal comes (plus maybe Knecht)
I think we need a guy like Vando as a defensivr disruptor who can play with high energy for 10-20 min a night
A stretch big like Horford would be ideal to have next to him
