It seems to be a lost cause with this young man.
What is his realistic value in a S&T now and contract numbers?

Yep it’s really a sunk cost now, I can’t see there’s a way in which he returns. Kumingas going to have to take less so he can move on and in a spot where he can try to prove himself for his next contract. Assuming he’ll have to accept something close to the non tax mid level… which means GS can only take back $7M-$8M in salaries.

If it’s Sac or PHX that leaves the likes of Devon Carter or Nick Richards

I think he ends in the study, by the lead pipe, and it was Colonel Mustard with the felling blow.

Thanks.
I lost track of things.
To some degree, it reminds me of the Hawks, and when the Hawks had John Collins. He was forever on the trade block.

When PHX and Sacramento are the top suitors, I'm not sure that speaks highly of your value

Gsw should really cut their losses and move on. Get a 2nd round pick if you must

My understanding here in Sac is that the Kings have upped the offer slightly by making it a protected first instead of two seconds. Carter and filler (no Keon and absolutely no Keegan - it’s idiotic to even mention their names in this). Doubt that any noise of Nick Richards has any substance at all.

I don't get why the Kings would want him, what are they trying to do over there??

Chicago would be a nice fit with Coby White, Giddey, and Vuc

I'd rather GS sign him. Get him on a long term deal. He will end up getting featured for a good stretch this season whether GS plans that or not. Curry and Butler are going to get hurt. If someone wants him at the deadline the offers will be better than the Kings offer. If they don't, he will be even more featured next season. Tank commanders are easy to trade... someone always overpays.

So the starting five would be Sabonis, Kuminga, Murray, Derozan, Lavine and Schrö.. wait

Agreed, it speaks volumes about your value. But both Sac/PHX offer different options for Kuminga IMO. PHX has the better team and a younger roster. While Sac looks totally lost roster-wise, they'd be the team most willing to build around Kuminga IMO.

IMO the Kings should really focus on doing something with this DD/Lavine pairing. I still have no clue wtf they're doing. But I do like the addition of Kuminga to the Kings, simply from a young asset perspective, rather than fit.

I also think that's a decent offer because I'm a Carter fan.

Warriors fans, is his game worth the contract he is trying to get?

I suspect his agency leaked Kings and Suns as a price driver, fishing for higher bids.

Kuminga is the epitome of a mercenary. He will sign with whatever team offers the most money.

Kuminga/agency won't take bidders seriously unless they find cap and bring cap space to the table.

So I think all roads to Kuminga run through the Nets as a facilitator for the Warriors. Interested parties lacking cap will have to compensate both the Warriors (asking 1 first + 1 promising prospect per Shams) for Kuminga and the Nets for cap. So they will have to pay big money, offer a feature role to Kuminga, and surrender assets on 2 fronts.

He's not some easy road to generating asset value out of thin air.

Why do I have a feeling an idiotic Cam Thomas - Jonathan Kuminga swap is incoming where everyone ultimately loses?

But I do agree it's fun to fantasize about our teams getting something for virtually nothing. Warriors should make it hurt.

Not as it currently stands. You trade for him based on upside and the assumption his role with the Warriors stunted his development. I’m not a fan but you never know I guess. He’s pretty certain if himself so there’s that.
