HR Derby might suck but I'm glad they're televising it, I can't go to the game.

Re: Brewers/Marlins Series
We took 2 of 3 from them earlier this month but they were all close. The series finale was Woody's first start and the start to the winning streak. The Marlins just took 2/3 from the Padres.

Re: Brewers/Marlins Series
The Marlins are a legitimately solid team now. Pitching, which used to be loaded with prospects, did not reach such expectations and is just OK...but they have a pretty good lineup now.

I hope Black gets a couple starts. They need to figure out what they have with him.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming Wow! What a Ride!-H.S.T.

I think they know and want to use him in a trade package in the next week.

I imagine Levering or BA will MC the derby. Would have been great to have Uecker do it.

Re: Brewers/Marlins Series
Who are you guys picking in the Derby? I feel like Braun & Thames are probably the favorites. I'm liking for Gallardo though
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Seeing the gray on these guys makes me feel old.
Yes, I have plenty. Don't make me look in the mirror.

Re: Brewers/Marlins Series
Right call all around. Sucks for the Marlins since he's likely be at third if it hadn't been called HR on the field, but works for me

Re: Brewers/Marlins Series
Second inning, 4 batters, Quantrill threw I think one pitch in the TV strike zone, which Vaughn laced for a single. Otherwise three strikeouts, ayayayay. Even the Marlins announcers are like Woah these strike calls, and they were vociferous about the K by Churio not being close to a swing, should have been a HBP.

80 pitches through 4 for Freddy.
Cool having the booth visitors.
