I wouldn't give up Arjun or Barger for Keller right now he's good to very good but not elite. The different articles and videos I've seen where they are calling him tyre ace off this team is a stretch. In all honesty I think Gallen, Cease or Sandy are more realistic and with Gallen cheaper options

It wouldn't shock me to see a Duran from Boston for Keller.

Ryan McMahon is an upgrade on NYY's current 3B but he also kind of sucks. I'm fine with that.

Does this mean the Yankees think the asking price for Suarez is too high, and decided on a different route?

Both High-A prospects, I think. So equivalent to us giving up Stanifer and Maroudis, or thereabouts?

Yeah, I think I'm good.

Suarez to Jays. No chance D backs don't trade him before deadline

McMahon’s stats away from Coors Field this year are horrendous.

He will probably have a boost just because he is heading away from a historically bad team.

Then again his numbers outside of Colorado are not good so it will offset the above.

His numbers outside of Colorado are disgusting. He’s not very good but that’s still an upgrade on Peraza.

What's the plan if we acquire a starter, move Scherzer to the bullpen in long relief? Can't imagine he'd be happy with that, but Lauer has been too good lately to remove from the rotation. Unless they want a 6 man rotation..

Scherzer isn’t going to the pen in any scenario, they’ll run a 6 man rotation. Most of their SPs are old anyway.

Yeah I like this idea we dont have any clear Aces anyways I think a theoretical playoff rotation we pick the 3-4 best depending on matchups.

My predicted trades based on how I think our management team is navigating things in terms of targets -- perhaps the assets I am returning are too high or too low.

#1. Harrison Bader from Minnesota for Alan Roden
and a #15-#30 organizational prospect. Bader is a RHB to try to get some lineup balance, that is good defensively. The defensive value is what attracts this management team.

#2. Luis Severino from Oakland
for a pitching prospect between #4-#8 in the organization, Emanuel Clase, and possibly Chad Green(we eat 50-80%). Severino is attractive to the Jays as he is retained through 2027, and he will just fill the salary spot of Bassitt or Scherzer.

2 relievers - one good, and one struggling veteran.

#1. A high leverage 7th-8th inning type.
#2. A veteran who is underperforming in 2025 and will be cheap. A better version of Chad Green in 2025, but not that much better either. The hope that a competitive environment sparks something.

Trade talks between the Yankees and Diamondbacks over Eugenio Suárez stalled after Arizona asked for a MLB player, an upper-level prospect (AA/ AAA), and at least one lower-level prospect, per industry sources.

Who would those assets be?
