When we getting cross league jerseys? I'm ready for a Green Bay Bucks jersey.

I remember liking this guy during the draft process. Hard to see a pathway for him to make the 53 but an interesting pickup

He was a beast at Pitt. Would be a great addition for the practice squad if we can keep him around. The in house talent for the RB2 and RB3 spot is pretty legit I think. Still like Lloyd as a potential game breaker and Brooks and Wilson are both solid depth. Curious to see who shows out at TC and takes the spots on the 53. Should be a fun preseason from all of them.

Veteran kicker Brandon McManus is in such a groove that even the field goals he thinks he misses go through the uprights. On Friday, McManus let out an audible groan right in the middle of a 51-yard field goal that, surprise, was good.

It was in the middle of a run of long kicks during the 2-minute drills in which McManus twice made 51-yarders and then booted one through from 56 yards. Through three days of practice, McManus, who turned 34 on Friday, is a perfect 15 for 15.

What a difference a year makes. Last year at this time, the Packers were still trying to find a replacement for Mason Crosby, who last kicked for Green Bay in 2022. A training camp battle between Anders Carlson and Greg Joseph didn't settle the job. Both were cut and they claimed Brayden Narveson off waivers. Narveson lasted six games before McManus was signed in October.

McManus made 20 of 21 field goals last year in the regular season. While he also missed one in the playoff loss to the Eagles, the Packers brought him back this offseason on a three-year, $15.3 million deal. He's the only kicker currently at camp. They have signed Irish kicker Mark McNamee as part of the international player pathway program but he has yet to practice.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

It's mighty nice to avoid dreading any FG or PAT attempt.... A guy who can kick well in a Green Bay December is a plus. I don't expect perfection, but top five Kicker would be a plus

13 days until the first preseason game. I don't set my schedule around them but I like them. Guys fighting for roster/PS spots.

My best guess is that 2024 first-round pick Jordan Morgan will be the first offensive lineman off the bench this season. He has already worked at three spots through four practices: left tackle, left guard and right guard. That might be a sign that coaches are preparing him to fill in at three positions on game days if injuries arise. On Day 1, he started at right guard. The last two practices, he has started at left guard with Banks sidelined. Sean Rhyan has been starting at center with Jenkins sidelined, but Rhyan said, “in theory,” he will return to right guard when Jenkins returns. Rhyan has also been reassured by seeing Morgan more in the mix at left tackle this spring and summer because, to him, it means coaches have more confidence in him at right guard after a season in which he and Morgan rotated when Morgan was healthy.

“It was them saying, ‘OK, he can play ball,’” Rhyan said. “So that gave me more motivation through this offseason to make sure that stays the case. But obviously, I’m going to play my game and do my best at whatever (position) they put me at. But yeah, I think that was a reassuring thing.”

This is the best route imo. An injury is going to happen at some point, and having Morgan available to fill and whatever spot that might be seems to be better than pigeonholing him in at LT, and then if a Guard goes down you have to play Jacob Monk or whoever. Unless Morgan is heads and shoulders above Rasheed Walker Id rather go this route

Hobbs is going to take out half the Packers offense before the season begins.
