It's encouraging to see things like this but they
overlook we need to be bottom 4 and even though
our players appear to have potential and were solid
choices, they're still too young to have reached
whatever potential they might have. The NBA is a
league dominated by grown ass men. We're still a
couple years and a player or 2 away from being where
we'd like to be.
A lot of what we call 'thought' is just mental activity

This time last season his draft stock took a hit simply because he had hooked up with an older woman.

I remember that, it was so dumb, he is bigger, stronger, and playing with a chip on his shoulder now.

..oh Utah has him locked-up at 3M a year through 27/28.

That's not really why his stock dropped. It was a bit of a conspiracy to get him to Utah basically. His girlfriend is a morman honey trap. They do this all the time if you move to Utah you'll get hot chicks just showing up at your door talking about the church.

Really? They used the Mormon honey trap?

Filipowski must love him some Utah Raw Wildflower Honey. He is balling.

I mean, he's a tweener that doesnt defend well in space, protect the rim, or shoot it CONSISTANTLY. His playmaking and IQ are/were certainly intriguing, but there a clear On-court reasons to why he dropped to 32.

Controversial Figure at Duke:
During his time at Duke, Filipowski was considered a polarizing figure and sometimes labeled a "villain" by some due to incidents like the court-storming at Wake Forest and a tripping incident against UNC.

Family Dynamics:
There were reports of friction between Filipowski and his family related to his relationship with Caitlin Hutchinson, with allegations of grooming and religious conversion attempts influencing the situation.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

This falls under the SL category since we were having fun with the names, the odd names were noticed elsewhere.

IMO, he's similar to Tristan Vukcevic. Kyle has the added credibility of going to Duke but both Tristan & Kyle are skilled offensive players who really struggle on the other side of the ball. Utah is higher on Kyle than we are on Tristan so Kyle's getting more opportunity but neither is a playoff caliber rotation player until the effort/attention to detail on the defensive side improves

Interesting comparison. Vukcevic is a much more prolific scorer with a lot more 3-ball gravity. Filipowski is a slightly better rebounder and passer, but he doesn't block nearly as many shots as Vukcevic. Ultimately, I'd have to say that Vukcevic's per-minute numbers are more impressive. Filipowski played 1500 minutes to Vukcevic's 500 though. There's a greater "garbage time factor" to Vukcevic's numbers.

Vukcevic is only 8 months older than Filipowski

On the numbers they are virtually indistinguishable overall!
