So maybe don’t trade one of the team’s best players for a RP after all

Would rather not use Hoffman in the 9th if we can help it

I would’ve put Fischer out again for the 8th. If he struggles, then we are going to probably go to Little and Yariel anyway. If he doesn’t struggle, then we can rest Yariel.

I rather deal your hero Varsho for a good reliever if that is possible. Love Varsho's Defense, but looking at how this team is performing ever since he got hurt- I am not sure you need his elite late inning defense anymore when you have Straw for that role. You need offense, and Lukes has been providing that in CF.

Varsho does have power, but he also strikes out a lot while hitting .200. The more I think of it, Varsho would be my trade bait right now. He will be looking around 10 million next year also in arbitration. Loperfido is making $760,000 this year and is a guy I do not really want to move unless I get an elite, controllable player back. Obviously, it would be a sad day for you, but Varsho is the guy right now I would be offering up for a trade.

Varsho is either the 1st or 2nd most valuable player on this team (right there with your favourite Kirk) and he’s fortunately going nowhere. This team is about to upgrade hugely on Loperfido in a couple of days.

How valuable can he he if the team turned their season around without him.

Who would have said back in May with how awful this team was playing, that the Jays would be the best team in baseball heading the last weekend of July? Incredible turnaround, which nobody could have predicted. Credit to the players and the coaches.

Never would have thought the Jays would be 20 games above .500 right now, when they were struggling to be a game over .500 for like a month early in the year. Most excited I have been for a Jays team since August of 2015. 2021 would have been exciting also, if not for this team having one of the worst bullpens in all of MLB.

Extremely valuable if you believe WAR where he’s either 1st or 2nd from a rate perspective. Clearly a team cancer though.

I definitely did not see this coming. I thought this team after April looked like a continuation of the 2024 team, but man have they turned it around. Fun to watch.

2015 Jays finished +221. Good luck to the 2025ers.
