I'd say he was still a more offensively skilled big upon entering the league than Duren is. With all that said, it's still a stretch. Given that Duren didn't shoot the shot likely means that we aren't pursuing that? But your notion that Bam's situation is really any different than Duren's right now is inaccurate.


I think that Adebayo entered the league as a more skilled offensive player than Duren, though I agree that there was not a diametric difference. Still, Bam makes n=1. And it took him until season seven to log a single campaign in which he was efficient from short midrange -- he's yet to be efficient from 14+ feet -- and until season eight to become a reliable perimeter shooter.

Just one -- the same post your last message was responding to. The essence was that Lopez was always a skilled offensive player with shooting touch.
