Masai being fired continues to be one of the stupidest things I have seen.

Outside trolls, no one wanted this.

10000%.

In a salary cap environment, areas like management, infrastructure, scouting etc. is where we can really differentiate ourselves, especially for a city like Toronto with a fan base like the Raptors... that's NOT the area to try and "save a few bucks". F#king hate Ed.

Perhaps we get lucky and Ed dies a premature death and Masai is hired back :D

The sad thing is Ed winning the chair of Rogers over his sister. If not mistake the two sisters of Edward are very different.

It’s just sad that Ed won in court .

I really want to see Larry T buy the Raptors outright and have them run like the gem of an organization they are and deserve to be. Duck fou to Rogers always!
I believe in Masai.

I didnt want Nurse fired, or the core broken up due to lack of interest to build and improve on it from the FO. But it happened. Masai had no energy for this team post championship. You can only blame so many others who have proven themselves for the team not improving.

It was time for a change.

It’s insane to think just because you have a few down years that suddenly you’re incapable of doing the job.

Sports in a draft and salary cap environment are cyclical. This “what have you done for me lately” **** we see is ridiculous.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Correct. That is why firing your coach was a complete cop out. For that reason alone Masai needed to go since that day.

The glaring issue was the absence of a scoring leader on the court and more so the right chemistry needed when we had an already great core, the coach was not responsible for that. GM far more so.

Masai should have been fired on that day as well because it showed there was a bigger problem going on and the 'what have you done for me lately" book was beginning to be thrown on everyone except those who could actually make the changes required to improve.
