No interest for Westbrook? Was wondering if he was going to sign with a team.

Knicks were the early rumor but then they signed Clarkson for peanuts. Kings were an early and current rumor but idk if he's not interested or what.

Outside of that just random writers throwing names out.

https://www.nba.com/news/10-most-intriguing-remaining-free-agents

I'm not mad at this list. The three most prominent RFA's are on there. Gonna be an interesting wrinkle to see how that gets addressed when the next CBA comes out. Wonder if they scale the NBA age entrance back to 18 to persuade players to enter the draft after high school so they could get to that second NBA contract sooner instead of staying in college for three years because of the NIL deals they could get.

Also, I wonder why someone hasn't tried to sign Charles Bassey yet. A lot of teams could do worse than him as their 2nd/3rd Center.

Probably because Bassey's knees have imploded basically every season at some point. He is a solid 3rd C in a pinch but the dude just cannot stay healthy unfortunately

Good point. Still worth the minimum to see if he can stay healthy for a year.

Bassey has been playing Summer League for Boston and has a good chance of making the team imo. C's are really lacking bigs this season so it's a good fit. He's been really good in Vegas and says he's healthy for the first time in a while.

Damn that’s sad didn’t think he was bad last season. But I can see the issues of teams signing him.

I honestly don't think he would be a bad backup at all to Trae i think our 2nd group has alot of talent that he could work with. It's not like we have a good enough backup PG on the team as it sits anyways.

We need a legit talented backup PG and a 3rd vet big and i'll feel really good about the hawks.

Its not the right Jordan and its not the right Butler. But they are younger, cheaper and they can help the Suns.

Suns are an interesting team to watch. They still don't have a PG but their roster is a bit more balanced now. Jalen Green was miscast as a 1st option and will do better as second fiddle to Booker. Booker is back to being the clear-cut top guy and I expect a big scoring season for him. They finally have a good center rotation. A bit weak on the 4 but maybe they slot Dillon Brooks in there.

Not really much of a hot take since they were really bad last year but I could see them having more wins next season.

They’re gonna be all time horrible even with Booker. I’d bet significantly on that.

All time horrible? How much do you want to bet?

36 wins last year. I don't see any way they finish with more next year. It's a terrible roster in a brutal conference.
