Last minute daggers I can see. But last shot of game duties will be Book or Green.

Maybe he won't hit it early as a rookie, but if we need a three to win a game - this guy can do it.

Basically, if its the final play of the game, this guy should be in there to hold defenses accountable. I would feel comfortable having him take the last shot of games if he was wide open.

He was born in Brooklyn but both of his parents are from Dominican Republic.

He played for Dominican Republic national team when he was in young categories but never with the absolute National Team but he said a few days ago that he plans to play with them in the next tournaments.

We should have taken a point guard at this point not a 1 dimensional player in the mold of Damion Lee.

PG made more sense, but he's in a different territory than Lee(more like Curry, Klay) when it comes to 3PT shooting coming out of college.

Needs to add weight as listed at 174lb is low. He'll need to add strength and develop other facets of his game in addition to shooting where he'll be among the best in the league.

Best case scenario I see for him is he'll be a taller version of Seth Curry.

Lights out from 3 but a total defensive liability and unable to score anywhere else besides the 3 due to subpar athleticism.

That's a fantastic projection for him. Seth has over a decade in the NBA across 9 teams. That's a journeyman by definition but that's someone who teams value. And Seth was doing this despite his 6'1 stature. Koby is 6'7,

He has the same scouting aura as Klay Thompson, both short armed wings with elite shooting and under the rim game.
Klay's biggest advantage is defensive awareness and falling to the right system with Curry.
Brea NEEDs to continue his decent team defense rating and I think he is a sure fire rotation player on all teams with potential to be a starter.

Even Klay Thompson without the elite D is a pretty good NBA career. Was listening to the Game Theory podcast and they mentioned a few names who were 6'5+ and had similar shooting stats at the college level and those were like Sam Hauser, Jason Kapono, Kyle Korver and I think 1-2 more names. Kapono and Korver both had long careers with Korver playing on those Cavs Finals team. Sam Hauser is an NBA champ with the Celtics and signed a long term extension with them last offseason. Even someone like Bertans has made a career out of basically doing one thing only

And none of these dudes play defense. If Brea could like just be a slight negative on D or neutral while having a couple of counters to getting run off the 3PT line, he's going to be in the league for a long time.

Klay Thompson 21/5/4 in college. He was a lottery pick as well. I’d pause on that comparison before you burn yourself.

(I like him more than Jalen Green)
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

I didnt make that comparison first, it was an online analysis comparing his shooting and game style to Klay. Brea is also a bench player while Klay started.

And I'm not expecting much from Brea, I just hope he lives up as a shooter. But point remains, But if you read both players scouting report they have the same strengths and criticism.

I'd rather we don't, but the two of them together would be lethal in terms of shooting from range.

I cannot watch a team with both Dillon Brooks and Grayson Allen. Too much douchery.

Have I missed where someone talked about this kids health issues? Had rods implanted in both tibias to address problems with stress fractures. His workload had to be manages in college. Did we drafted an injury prone guy?

Think its behind him now. That surgery was in 2023 and played 36 games last year (averaged over 30 minutes per game the last 2 months)
