No surprise there, will likely need to call up a catcher shortly and I’m hoping it isn’t Sanchez

That inning probably got him out of the game two innings early.

He wasnt seeing another inning regardless. Tigers run their team like the rays. Gone are the days a pitcher is allowed to pitch into the 7th

He was at 77 pitches before the Bo AB. If Bo does a quick out and he strikes out Heineman, good bet he comes up for the 7th in a tie game

Its not going to be a grade A prospect in return, just a baseball trade for an OF of similar calibre. There has to be a team that has the opposite issue of the Jays and has an imbalance on the other side of the plate.

Is that a way we can balance the roster, or should we even consider it. Chemistry?

Would love that

That is a good idea. I would deal guys like Clase, Roden, etc. I would prefer to keep Loperfido, but would only trade him for someone that has multi years of control and has great potential.

Trade Loperfido for Mason Miller

He had 61 pitches to start that inning, and he’s the best pitcher in baseball. Don’t be an idiot.

An emplosion is what happens when it can neither implode nor explode. It emplodes.

Call me crazy, If Kirk needs a few days, how about we bring Varsho back, and have him catch those games?
It's a way to keep the others in the lineup, and "ease" Varsho back.

Tyler Heineman gets to stay on his timeline.

Things are going well when the only thing to complain about is Varsho and grammar ;)

He hasn’t caught a game in like 4 years, it’s not gonna happen

I remember there was a point in the season where I was just like **** watching jays games… it was depressing.

What a weird and pleasant 180.

I think it's like riding a bike, you never forget. We have a good lead, we can try somethings, and I think it'll continue to keep guys in that joyful mode.

It's a bad idea.

I think the last thing you want to do with somebody coming back from rehab, is play them at a position that is more physically straining on them, and a position their body has not had to deal with for a while nor in rehab,

His hamstring rehab hasn't involved crouching and getting up over 100 times a game. It's not worth the risk.

Jays currently have a 6.5 game division lead. That’s the second largest divisional lead in baseball, behind the Tigers 7 game lead.

I’d rather Ali Sanchez or whoever else is in Buffalo. Varsho catching is asking for injury and disaster
