Why for utah: Utah didn't get as much draft capital from Collins/Sexton trades as expected, they get 2 2nds in 2026 (they don't have 2nd rd pick in 2026)

I think DEN should take Svi into TPE to balance rosters and maintain cap space for UTA, they have been passive, but I think they want to keep the option of making a play at Giddy or Kuminga.
Anderson is a good homeless man Jokic version as playmaking big for the second unit.

Problem is Denver is $400.000 above lux tax. This years tax would have been $1.2M which is nothing. But I think they will try to get under to not be repeated offender in the future. Next year after they resign Braun/Watson they'll be close to 2nd apron team and diference between lux tax or lux tax for repeated offender will be big.

After this trade the best way for Denver to fill 14th roster spot will be from their 2-way players contracts turn into standard NBA contract for $1.2M.

The Jazz have previously stated that they don't want to take on money beyond next season and everything they've done so far seems to confirm that. I would hope/expect that they might reconsider for the right deal, but I don't remotely see them doing this deal for that level of return.

That 2026 DEN swap with WAS has a tiny expectation of being exercised and is almost of no value whatsoever. The Nuggets would have to give up something real in order to move Nnaji's relatively small contract.

I don't see this as ducking tax move, I know they will not go under tax line this way. But I think they will try to be as close to tax line as posible to duck taxt with next move. If they sign their 2-way player Curtis Jones to standard NBA contract his contract will count into the minimum roster spots requirement. Min contract for players with 0 NBA experiance is $1.2M. They will be 500k over luxtax this way.

Next move could be trading Pickett for any 2nd round picks signed this year to standard contract ($1.2M) and they are under tax line.
This is easiest way, od course they could do some others moves too.

These are basically 2 different trades combined in one. Denver/Washington is bet from Washington worst of OKC/HOU 1st round pick they have will be worst than Denvers pick, and trade for 2 2nds is worth moving few spots up in the 1st round. Bet from Denver's side is they will be top 5 team next year and they will move just few spots back in the 1st round. It can be executed without Utah's part. Denver takes 2 2nds back.

Utah - Dever part is about value of SloMo. If Utah doesn't want to turn SloMo into 2 2nds and longer contract ok. Denver doesn't need to move Nnaji, SloMo is good option but not needed one for Denver.

I figure OKC will pick 30th and Denver will pick 27th or so. Is 3 spots that late in the draft worth two SRP's?

I might make this type of move on Draft Day if I knew I was moving up 5-6 spots, but I don't think I'd pull the trigger now. It's not a terrible proposal or anything. It's just not quite enough to entice me.

I understand reasoning, just these 2nd round picks will not be very high ones also. Potentional Washington own 2nd is excluded. 1 will probobly come from PHX - 40+, and 2nd will be more favorable of MIN and NYK - 50+ in year Washington has 1(2) 1st round picks and 3(4) 2nd round picks.

I'd probably do it for Washington. Small cost, small reward but possibly some degree of variance gives the hope it's a bargain.

I would not do this. Anderson's last year is ung. Don't care about Tyson. 2nds for 8 million on the books next year just isn't appealing when we could just decide to do something with that extra space next year.
