Living his best life. Working abroad, doing repetitive tasks most of the year to then realise his dreams at home during the summer. That's called sacrifice.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

Joker has a farm in Serbia where he has a number of horses. Harness racing has been a passion of his for years. Some reckon he loves it more hoops.

This is why I don't think he will be playing in the NBA post 35. He will sign another 2/3 season extension with Denver and then will retire and move back fo Serbia and continue his passion of Horses and Horse racing (in my opinion it has to be said)

He has over 40 race horses those are expensive to maintain. I doubt he retires in 5 years if he was planning to he would have signed the extension this offseason instead of waiting for next year to add another year

I dont think people have a good grasp on his personality. He is extremely competitive and really plays basketball with a passion. Whoever says he doesnt care or has no love for basketball is just hating. I think he doesnt LOVE basketball. Its his job. You can do your job and be very good at it and want to be the best at it without loving it.

If i think about the players of the last 10-15 years i think KD is the only one post Kobe whom i believe he truly plays the game for the sake of the game. LeBron, Kawhi, Giannis, even Steph...i dont feel it with them.

I feel like he loves the game as much as he loves horses, just not the NBA

Most people say “Man, if only I was 7 feet tall, I’d be in NBA.”

Joker says “Man, if only I was 5’5’’, I’d be a jockey.”

To me, it looks like horsing is where he's relaxed, because he's not the focal point of the competition and his horses and riders (no idea about the exact term for those guys right now after four beers) are in the spotlight.

In basketball, he's the one around whom everything revolves, good or bad, so he's extremely focused and unwilling to show emotions. I don't believe his carelessness is honest, as no sane human being would be chilled after winning an NBA ring or an MVP trophy. I know the feeling of being so locked on something that you're not able to celebrate when everything goes right and exactly that is how everything looks with him basketball wise.

It's a myth...the dude loves basketball, very passionate, he's just stoic in his post-game celebrations, but look here below.
