Siakam's playful demeanor was never the same after experiencing Kawhi.
Was it after experiencing kawhi or was it after the bubble and bs and racist remarks he took online?

He's mentioned one of the above before. Not to derail the post...

It was necessary in order to win the championship.

if i remember right, lowry pouted after the deal and masai had to sit him down and say play nice or i'm trading you. i think there were rumors that kyle would've been part of the gasol trade to bring conley back as well.

I think it likely at least got discussed. Conley was having a career year while Kyle was having a bit of a down one at the time.

They can yap all they want about being rubbed the wrong way, none of them would have come close to posting a 61.9 TS% on high volume in the playoffs. Literally shut the **** up, know your role, shut your mouth and enjoy the fat paychecks you are now receiving.

Thank you Kawhi for blessing this team and some of your former primadonna teammates.

Who did he help get paid other than maybe Danny Green?

There were a lot of spurs calling him selfish on his way out, I dont think that was ever a secret.

Kyle is the one guy I think deserves to talk some ****, Kawhi punked him so bad for everyone to see on national TV. The moment they won the chip and Kyle tried to hug him only to get pushed off was pretty embarrassing lol. It showed what Kawhi was

That's odd that wasn't my impression at all.

It seemed like Kawhi appreciated the rizz of Kyle Lowry.

They smoke BLUNTS together. Kyle Lowry will remmove the SKIN of the BLUNTWRAP from the BLUNT-CIGAR. A hard task for KAWHI, who has BIG HANDS. Kyle has small, rodent-like hands which are optimized for remmove the SKIN of the BLUNTWRAP from the BLUNT-CIGAR. After which Kawhi will insert the marijuana into the SKIN and then roll it into a BLUNT.

A misconception. Masai was no better at attracting external free agents here as Colangelo or anyone before him. What African FA did he attract here as a result of his connection with Giants of Africa? None. If you want to stretch it, maybe Bismack Biyombo for 1-year, $3M. Hardly notable.

Neither Kawhi nor Giannis are signing here with or without Masai.

It will interesting to see what people latch onto as a “free agent” hope now that Masai is gone. For 5+ years it was “Giannis might come here because of Masai”. Now Masai is gone.

We never had a chance at any star free agent anyway. It will be interesting to see what the new hope will be around here. My guess is the narrative will shift to “SGA homecoming”

99.9% of NBA teams never have any chance of a star free agent. The CBA is simply not designed for a star player to leave. 99% of players are not leaving millions on the table. Unless you're the Lakers or Heat, you have no real chance of signing a star free agent. This narrative about the Raptors should stop.

This is surprising to no one.

Also Lowry's comments were from 2021, not from today, it was just an article that reposted his interview from 2021.
