Where do you rank Kobe as an all-time scorer?

He's easily only behind MJ or maybe Wilt. Only Wilt and MJ have more 50+ and 40+ point games, so pretty straight forward if you are just talking about power levels. Kobe did all that while playing in Dead Ball era where other players like Wilt and MJ played their primes in inflated eras relative to the late 90's and 2000's.

I never said that LeBron was a better scorer than Durant in this thread. I clearly argued that LeBron was better than Kobe. You're the absolute king at getting things wrong. It's honestly impressive. You must get some type of enjoyment from it.

It’s kind of a basketball intelligence litmus test when you compare LeBron and Kobe as scorers and see who ends up picking Kobe.

Kobe has basically no case over LeBron as a scorer outside of the haters’ eye test and reputation. Especially when looking at the playoffs.

He did it with a 60% TS% nonetheless. Super impressive. But we're really using a 9 game sample size to make a point? That ain't it. What's next, we putting Jeremy Lin in the top 100 scorers because he average 25 ppg over Linsanity?

Why aren't you complaining about the people ranking him #1? That's easily more egregious than ranking him #10 or lower. Ranking him 2-3 is egregious as well. Where are your complaints about that?

Pretty much. He has absolutely no case over MJ or LeBron. I haven't done a deep comparison to Kobe vs KD, but on the surface I don't think he has a good case for being above KD.

If its just volume & efficiency, likely ard top 12.

If its volume, efficiency & variety, then maybe top 5.
