Ozzy killed 17 of his cats in a drug fueled rage and also attempted to murder his wife. But sure, Hulk Hogan is the POS here. Go tell all the make a wish kids who loved him.
Calm down. I stand corrected on Ozzy. Turns out they were both scum.
Lets be honest, if you do a deep dive on major celebrities you will find some horrific stuff. Doesn't mean there is a need so s*** on them after they are dead....Unless of course your last name is Epstein, Weinstein, etc....
When I was a kid and Blizzard of Oz came out I was blown away by Randy Rhoads. I also had liked the Black Sabbath schtick as a kid. At that time Ozzy was a train wreck of a person and destroying himself with substance abuse …..and if it’s true that he killed his cats and abused his wife …. that is indefensible. However, the way he ended his career was truly remarkable. Humble to the core, thankful and 100% appreciative to his fans, lifting up as many of the musicians that will take his place and raising $200 million - the equal of his lifetime net worth - and giving it to charity. And doing that just weeks before your last breath? Pretty graceful way to exit this world. I believe he loved his work, loved his family, appreciated how miraculous his success was and really turned over a new leaf after the self destructive path he followed as a young man. I can admire that.
I don’t know enough about Hulk but he had a reputation for arrogance and narcissism whereas most who met Ozzy were impressed with his genuine humility and respectfulness - at least when sober.
Anyway, they were both icons of the 80s who helped make that an era of optimism and a fun time to be alive.
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."
