I was just about to say how can we not score on a guy with a 5.78 era

Seems to be all facets of the game:

Hitting — 18th in wRC+, 19th in OPS.
Pitching — 27th in both ERA and FIP
Fielding — 22nd in DRS, 22nd in OAA, 25th in Fangraphs defensive metric.

I get the pitching and fielding part, but there are some really good hitters in this lineup. A ton of power.

And a hitter friendly ballpark.

Good effort by Mullins there. Seemed like he was pretty close to catching it.

His wRC+ was up to 140 going into this game, and it’s 150 since May 1st. And this is without hitting for his usual power.

This version of their team certainly does.

The Rays have for about 20 years.

So Bassitt has absolutely nothing and no command of anything, not a good combination

Bad Bassitt tonight. We need another SP. I don't trust Bassitt in a playoff game.
