Fedor says the Cavs are in no rush to fill spot 14. Follows it up by saying whoever fills it essentially has no role on the Cavs.

Cavs have left spot 15 open for years now but doing the same with 14 feels risky. But hey, when a team is this far into the 2nd apron, you find your 13 and just deal with whatever injuries may come.

If they don't like anyone on the market, they might as well hold on to the slot as long as the league will let them.

My guesstimate is Novemebr 4th-ish would be the very latest the Cavs could fill it, if we're allowed to go the 2024 Knicks route.

The Knicks have been known to struggle at MSG, and seems like sometimes our guys feel less pressure on the road, and Don is always hyped there too.

So, could be worse (at least the opener won't be the 2nd night of a back to back).

But even being away at Det for jb to open Peacock, it's like why we on the road for all this stuff? Head scratching but i guess the East has nothing else to offer with all the injuries.

Was planning on going to an away Cavs game against the Knicks this year bc I am close, but they play their opening day there and Christmas. Not really willing to pay that premium in an arena that is already ludicrously expensive

Maybe I'll check out the Barclays center
