Havlicek was listed at SF for 12 out of the 16 years he played. I could Havlicek as a SF.

If we count West as a PG, I would list Harden as the best. He’s a MVP who is much more efficient than Iverson. He’s had disappointing playoff performances, but outside of Havlicek, no one on this list won a championship as the 1st option.

It´s Harden, then Drexler for me. If you want to count Harden as SG, since he played both Guard positions for long stretches of his career. There is actually a pretty shocking low amount of all time greats considering how much hype that position got based on Jordan. It´s definitely the slimest position of all 5 when it comes to all time greats.

Jordan
Kobe
Wade
West

Havlicek was a small forward and Harden is a point guard. After West i would probably go with Drexler.

It's still wild to me that we seem to collectively view Curry as a PG when his greatest attributes are his shooting and off-ball ability. He's a lot closer to a traditional SG than he is to a traditional PG.

Its not arguably at all, Wade is solidly over Harden. It's amazing how much some folks on realgm and some other boards value a career loser who put up gaudy regular season stats but flamed damn near every post season.

Also west was a PG.

He was good, great in some seasons, but come on, he rarely played starters minutes in the greater scheme of his career, and for good reason.

Because the Spurs won 50 games every year and they didn't really need him until the playoffs? Because Pop had a hard time incorporating him into the post-based offense? Certainly not because he wasn't a top 5 player in the league. FWIW, Manu started the majority of playoff games from 2005-2011.

Wardell Stephen Curry II, also known as Steph Curry, is an American professional basketball player and point guard for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association.

Plays like a SG, but he's a PG.

No one here has probably seen him play in person but I would say Lloyd Free (World B Free)

Ranking of guys I can see being classified as shooting guards. Pick among them who you'd count as a SG to find my 4th.

Jordan
Curry
Kobe
Harden
West
Wade
I bought a boat.

Modern position-less basketball. They threw Steph under the PG label since he’s the smallest on the court. Draymond played the point and Curry was indeed way more of a SG than a PG. I honestly believe it has stuck since he has an obvious claim to the greatest PG of all time but as an undersized SG or combo guard at best, he doesn’t stack up quite well.

SGA is probably the second best ever, just hasn’t played enough to rack up the accomplishments yet.

So does that make Draymond a PG...?

Jokes aside, I agree that in position-less bball, it's somewhat irrelevant

People voted for someone else to play in a mid-season exhibition? Oh no! I guess everything he did was meaningless then!

In related news, I'd like to say that I've decided Ken Griffey Jr. is the GOAT in baseball because he won the most home run derbies. Really got it done when it mattered most.
