Trade August 25th when williams can legally be traded
Cleveland: Allen
Phoenix: Williams, Richards, and Igohdaro
Cavs: Get some additional depth, save money, and take a high risk high reward swing with Mark Williams to give them more physicality and versatility on the interior but on a one year contract.
Phoenix: Lock in an All Start established center and don't have to worry about him walking.

Re: Cleveland/Phoenix
Cleveland needs to go all in this year and worry about everything after the season. The East will never be more wide open for them. This trade may not be a bad idea eventually, but makes them a lot worse in 2025-2026.

It might make more sense to do Allen for Maluach and Williams but wasn't sure how PHX felt about Maluach and he wasn't listed on Fanspo.

The Cavs are trying to to get to the Finals this season. None of these 4 quarters for a dollar trades are happening.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

No, it doesn’t make sense for a contending team to downgrade this year’s team for depth purposes. Particularly when the Cavs are already deep enough that two of the three guys they’d be trading for wouldn’t be rotation players.

Dont see Cle doing this, and I'm not a big Jafro fan after finding out he's only 6'9''. That fro is deceptive.
