So you want more bad TV? I mean I get it...they'll for sure get someone terrible cause they want cheap ratings. But can't we hope for more?

I only like interesting personalities, and Skip Bayless is definitely interesting, and so is Michael Rapaport and Andrew Gaze.

I guess that's one way to say "dumb commentary, that's unwatchable" but ok.

These guys need to take classes from Keanu Reeves.

If I'm not mistaken, he has implemented a no touch rule when dealing with women/fans.

He does it to avoid false accusations.

He'll probably make just as much if he markets a sports podcast well. He's still one of the biggest names and one of the most famous sports commentators..he just needs a good group around him

Sometimes you F around, sometimes you find out. Most times, and as in this case, you get both.

So not only did he have to pay a massive settlement, but now he's also out of a job. I don't see things going well for him moving forward as he's a tainted product and no network is going to want him on their team.

Surprised they hired him with his podcast content. Nothing inherently wrong with it but lots of content that typically media organizations wouldn't want to be associated with.

I would literally boycott First Take if Michael Rapaport was SAS's co-star.

ESPN wouldn’t have cut ties and he wouldn’t have had to pay a settlement if this was no big deal. He definitely did something seriously wrong.

That doesn't always work out. But sure, yeah, he can go that route and hope for the best.

Doesn’t he already have all that and it’s hugely successful?

ESPN definitely does the best at appealing to the lowest common denominator.

ESPN has cut ties with NFL Hall of Famer and media analyst Shannon Sharpe less than two weeks after he settled a lawsuit in which his ex-girlfriend accused him of rape, sources briefed on the decision told The Athletic on Wednesday.

Sharpe has not been on ESPN since late April, when the suit was first filed. Sharpe denied the allegations and said at the time that he would return to ESPN at the beginning of NFL training camp. ESPN declined to comment.

Wow what a week for podcasters/TV personalities!

What is a 57 year-old with grandkids, multimillionaire, former professional athlete doing sleeping around with an 18 year-old IG/OF model?

If he isn't a rapist and got extorted, I don't feel even a little bad for the fool.

Sucks to see a successful black man have his rep torn down unfairly. To an extent, he brought it on himself. Public figures should be careful dealing with these gold digging devils. A lot of these "influencer" models have zero moral compass whatsoever and only care about one thing: $$$
