What are the odds the Suns and the Warriors would agree to that trade?

I would if I were him unless the warriors change their offer.

Suns are offering broken pieces (let's ignore that they don't have the reported 2nds to trade). When the warriors need a trade at the deadline, those 3 or 4 for 1 deals are unlikely. Hence a poor poo platter.
The kings are now offering 1 rotation player + a protected pick. If that's the case, then it's likely monk. Now that pick isn't for kuminga, it's for taking on monk and his long contract. That's why the need for the pick to become unprotected. Demar is the other option, he is a much more palatable contract. But, he also doesn't fit and he might have been promised to Miami.
Kuminga at a 1+1 is likely more tradeable at the deadline.
Monk at 3/80 isnt.
Demar has only 50% of his contract guaranteed, but is a poor fit.
Mjd wants someone who can shoot, defend, and whos contract lines up with steph, jimmy, and dray.
Any trade with sacramento or the suns is trading kuminga to just get away from him. And that doesn't help the team.
Agree with all that but the bolded part, especially

I think the warriors know there's an easy deal to make if they make the second year a PO or guarantee it

I think he'll take the 1+1. His agent cant possibly mess up this badly twice and cost his client millions. Turner is out of his depths here.
45M is alot of money for jk to turn down.

What was the first time? We have not learned there was no offer from the dubs last summer, no?

Olapido extension similarities to the kuminga extension.
Oladipo reveals why he turned down a big contract extension with the Pacers: "I always wanted more for myself in this game" - Yahoo Sports https://share.google/DwsXeYBwZEyx5SoNw
Sound familiar?
Sounds like kuminga.
Could be kuminga.
Aaron turner was/is the agent for both situations.

Dipo was on a superstar trajectory when he suffered a ruptured quad tendon in his right knee in January 2019. Although Victor returned to play just over a year after the severe injury, he and the Pacers didn't see eye to eye on a contract extension, with reports claiming that he had rejected a four-year contract worth $112 million.
The man himself debunked this notion on the "Above The Rim with DH12" podcast, saying that if the Pacers had made that offer, he would have immediately signed on the dotted line, no questions asked.
Sound familiar?
Vic acknowledged that, despite performing well in his comeback from a serious quad injury, his mindset hadn't fully recovered. Oladipo explained that signing a contract below his market value would have felt like settling and failing to recognize his own worth.
Sounds like kuminga.
With financial concerns hindering their progress, the Pacers traded Vic to the Houston Rockets in January 2021. There, he also thumbed down a two-year, $45.2 million contract, and in March, he was again on the move after Houston sent him to the Miami Heat.
Could be kuminga.
Aaron turner was/is the agent for both situations.

Re: Warriors exploring S&T for Kuminga
That all happened after Oladipo signed his 2nd contract worth 84m. It’s a lot easier betting on yourself when you’ve got 100m pre tax already in the bank.
Turner is risking his client a Nerlens Noel situation where the “betting on yourself” happens with only the rookie contract checks cleared.
That being said, IF Kuminga signs a 4 year deal in a sign and trade, he’d be on the exact Oladipo path.

There's been a lot of bad decisions by players...

Of course Schroeder had made a bag the previous contract 4/60 which was fine at the time.
Nerlens Noel is the guy who really is role model here. He turned down 4/70 and never came close to that. He ended up making $45M in his entire career. I'm not crying for the guy but still, he blew it big time.

I really loved Noel, a compete game changer on defense.
Then he got too full of himself then spiraled until wiggins ended his career.
Definitely a cautionary tale.

JK is likely to make ~$75M in his first 6 seasons and become an UFA, all by age 24. Assuming he takes the 2/45 that's been discussed. Maybe 50-55 in his first 5, if there's an option in year two, and UFA by 23.

How about Shabazz Mohammad turning down 40 mil over 4 years and ending up making just over 10 mil in his 6 year NBA career?

Reading about all of these bad contract decisions, all I can think is where are these guys' mommas? Somebody to look them square in the eye and say "Why you being so stupid?"

Re: Warriors exploring S&T for Kuminga
if Kuminga understands finance he would not be driving a lambo in his rookie year. I would not be surprised if he got broke in his early 30s.
