Looks like a future HOF'er to me.

I would post a Damien Martinez highlight. But Bjj gets upset & throws a tantrum when I post anything Hawks related.

I read this tweet earlier today that said Jaydon Blue is like Damien Martinez… but faster. True story.

We're obviously all taking the piss & Blue certainly has an extra gear to him. But I prefer Damien's running style & physical profile. He was actually on my radar for the Hawks leading up to the draft. So, I was thrilled when they grabbed him.

The guy was a load at Oregon State before transferring to Miami.

But I've always preferred that style of runner. I would not be surprised if he eventually becomes a starter in a year or 2.

You have a lot of faith in the Bengals OL.

I think he's like Barry Sanders but with more power.

It's why I'm out on Houston & Stroud. Laken Tomlinson & Ed Ingram are not a winning combination.

In all seriousness Damien Martinez was one of my favorite RB’s in the draft. I also prefer that tough running style. If you remember Martinez was one of the guys I wanted the Cowboys to draft. He’s a good fit for Seattle.

Not that the Bengals needed more offense but they're signing former 1st round pick, TE Noah Fant.

He should fill the All Jr role pretty well.

Fant is a solid #2 TE. He's not a great blocker. But is a decent receiving threat if used properly.

The Hawks drafted Elijah Arroyo, the TE out of Miami. They have two young TE's they like a lot (Arroyo & Barner). So, there wasn't much of a role for him based on what he was projected to earn.

Fant has kind of been underwhelming based on where he was drafted. Hasn't lived up to the expectations of being a former 1st round pick. Which is why Denver was willing to include him in the Wilson deal. But he's not a bad player.

Bengals use Gesicki essentially like a slot receiver a lot just to free up thr middle of the field/underneath. Sample is their blocking TE, so if Fant can carve out some hybrid role between them 2, he'll be set.

Yeah, he's not an in-line tight end. He has a reputation among fans as being somewhat soft for the position. He's also not going to blow you away with his athleticism either. But he's not a bad guy to have on your roster as a 2nd or 3rd option.

He was projected to make $9m this season. The Hawks we're not going to keep him around at that number. That's why he was a cap casualty.
