What is the point of this pic?

Literally says this is a beach party. Are you wearing tracksuits and timbs to a beach party? Do you want people wearing that at a beach party? Yeah, talk about reaching. Then again, not surprising.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

I love how being a disgusting racist is being swept away as "being less than perfect". Yall will excuse anything that doesn't personally impact you.

For any Black fan of Hulk Hogan, hearing him call us, an entire group of people, "n*ggers" isn't quite something one can overlook.

But yeah sure. He was a "complicated man", right?  miss me with this deliberately disingenuous clown sh*t.

The point is that your beloved orange dead man was a racist.

A union busting scab.

An abuser.

Any time anyone uses phrases like this, they should be asked what exactly was said or did

Cause it's always downplayed, right, because they know in this case if they post the full quote of what he said (not even getting into allegations territory), it looks really bad

So it's gotta be laundered to make it sound not so bad.

Yeah and it's not even that well laundered. It's basically someone saying that racism isn't a deal breaker for them.

That photo had nothing to do with your overly emotional meltdown of a post. This is what people like you do. Post off emotion and not common sense. Where exactly does telling people to wear beach attire to a beach party constitute as 'racist'?

Union busting? Lol. Wrestlers had an opportunity to form a union before and after Hogan and didn't. That was before guaranteed contracts. There was no union to bust so how is he a scab? How did him not wanting a union 40 years ago affect you? Cmon, enlighten me. I need to know why this hurt you so bad and why you think Hulk Hogan is responsible for no wrestlers forming a union in at least the last 20 years.

Who did he abuse? Let me know. Sounds like a serious allegation. Abuser like your beloved Stone Cold Steve Austin? I don't remember hearing a story of him abusing women. Being married 3 times isn't abuse.

What else? Backstage politics? That affected you? His son being a moron?

Go on, then. If you can go on, do it. Stand on your business since you're confident.

Three things:

1) it's okay to be upset. You're projecting your anger onto me. You're the one holding up a guy that called Black people "n*****s" in high regard. Look inward.

2) Do your own labor. It takes 3 seconds to Google "Hulk Hogan racism", "Hulk Hogan union busting", "Hulk Hogan abuse allegations". Don't be lazy and obtuse. Based on what you've written, you know a lot about Hogan so I find it hard to believe that him being a piece of sh*t is breaking news to you.

3) No one said anything about Steve Austin, you did. I don't celebrate Austin because he beat a woman's ass. It's not hard to do, and I'm someone who grew up loving Stone Cold. Shame you can't denounce Hogan for being a horrible human being too, but that's your issue, not mine.

Oh we're doing lists now instead of clarifying why that photo is racist. Because nowhere in those 3 numbers did you clarify how that photo was racist. You just decided to go on a tangent. No reason to have replied to my post if it had nothing to do with the photo.

Not going to do your research for you. You brought up abuse allegations. I didn't. Hogan has never beat a woman or his kids.

It's public record that Austin did and what Hogan said. Yet they are two great icons in the field they worked in and their accolades should be appreciated and respected for their IN-RING CAREERS. An entire man's legacy is not wiped out by a 10 second soundbite a decade ago, no matter how much you want it to be.

I know you're upset Hulk Hogan supported Donald Trump but there are better ways to go about this. Ranting like this is embarrassing.

I guess you could lump me with fellow terrible human beings who praised Hulk Hogan after his death, such as Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Diamond Dallas Page, The Dudley Boys (both Dudley Boys), Rob Van Dam, The Undertaker, Steve Austin, The Rock, Jim Ross, Teddy Long, Koko B Ware, Sylvester Stallone, Troy Aikman, Mark Henry, Jey Uso, Rey Mysterio, Dennis Rodman, and hundreds more celebrity racists. Lump me in with those guys for acknowledging greatness in a person's career.

The man is not OJ and he's not Chris Benoit, as much as you want to equate him with both.

Hulk Hogan gave me and many other great childhood memories as a wrestler.

I'll choose to remember his WRESTLING CAREER with fondness.

That's it. There's nothing more to it than this statement.

You can complain about why I don't conform to your opinion. Doesn't matter to me. I didn't make any bombastic claims. I just shared a sentiment on someone who made a positive impact on many lives globally during his CAREER. Guy is dead now. It's over. Life is bitter enough. I don't need to burn whatever joyous memories I still hold from childhood. Let people feel how they want to feel. Not everything has to be policed or studied like we're curing cancer. We are here temporarily. I'll let the higher power do the judging for me.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Knowing who he is as an adult though, fuq him. He ruined those innocent memories already for me to care about him at all.

I was the right age for Hulk to inspire me. He was the heart of the WWF, now WWE. There were others, but Hulk was my favorite in my late teens/early 20s when I was a fan.

He was a good actor, for a wrestler. He believably would fight his way back from behind or being hurt and as a young man, that resonated with me.

I liked Macho Man too, but Hulk was my favorite. I remember the first WrestleMania with Mr. T, and I was never a fan of Mr. T, but they hype for that WrestleMania was huge. I didn't watch it, cause I think it was early pay per view or maybe you needed cable and I was a broke college student, but I remember the build-up and I thought it was great.

I remember when Zeus came into the WWF/WWE and he was unbeatable. I didn't like Zeus. Does that make me racist, liking the white wrestlers more? But that was how the story was sold, Hulk was the good guy and Zeus was the hero. His movie (no holds barred) was terrible, but I still watched it. I also watched and kind of liked Suburban Commando. At least that movie knew what it was supposed to be. And the Undertaker had a speaking line in that film. Pure gold, as the Undertaker never talked.

I know he's been in other films. Rocky 3 - which was fine, he played the heel in that one. But I only saw two, No Holds Bard & Suburban Commando.

Not sure what else to say. It's hard to hate someone I used to be entertained by, but I certainly don't respect his points of view, or his choking out Richard Belzer on live TV. Which . . . might not have been intentional. It still wasn't a good look.

Hulk was part of my youth. Yeah, I don't like him now and haven't for a while, but I have good memories.

My iggy list is almost exclusively populated with people who have spouted bigoted rhetoric because if that is their mindset, I don't care about their basketball opinions. There are a few on there who have personally attacked me because I have a different basketball opinion so again I don't care about their opinions because of their mindset but it's not many, it's mostly filled with the bigoted.

And no shirt.

But I'm going to defend Hogan here, and I do that as somebody who hates his politics and doesn't think he was a nice man.

The shirtless/Bandana wearing Hogan is a logo, not an example of how to dress inside. That he's using his logo at his restaurant bearing his name is fine.

But I agree with you on your first point.

I was at WrestleMania. I am a few years younger than you though as I was like 14 at the time I think. I grew up going to Nassau Coliseum for wrestling matches. Back to the 70s. Bob Backlund days. Dusty Rhodes. Etc etc.

Hogan was a huge part of my childhood. For that I am sad. He was never my favorite wrestler though. I watched and followed all of the different territories back then. I could ramble off a ton of guys I liked more than him.

His acting was terrible.

I worked near some full on racists in the past and they would not go near black dominated sports. So I don't see there being that level of hate at all here. There B some stupid and ignorant people but I don't see any outright hate.

Regarding Hulk, I don't know the full story but his daughter was passed around a by some black folk or her black bf? He prob just B angry, but I don'T know. His recording seemed a bit calm but he used dat N word. Maybe I left someding out (outside of the 1 thing I heard) but I am not sure that in that situation that makes him a racist??? Anyway, I tend to look at actions, not words as people throw words around a lot, as we see here.

It is ironic the level of hate being thrown around here, but that is justified? I follow MLK and his vibe. Yeahhhhhh and dis brotha can dream.
I prefer to stay away from hate period. Two wrongs don't make it right.
