Good to hear about MLF. He's been here awhile and often a coaches message gets stale.

The whole offense ran the lap with Walker

Yeah MLF needs to be assertive with his approach and make sure he’s not losing the players. You need the team juiced up and ready to run through a brick wall for you to have any type of major success with million dollar athletes. Can’t have weak links in the chain because emotions and tensions are high and feelings are hurt and attitudes are turning into problems. No nonsense is good for business, point out the mishaps and clean that **** up.

He snapped at Rasheed Walker and made him take laps after he engaged in a post-play scrap with Enagbare, which pissed him and his fellow linemen off. He also called out Tucker Kraft for fumbles, which pissed off Tucker as defenders are allowed to punch repeatedly at the ball but he isn't allowed to use his stiff arm in practice. Nothing major, but this is what Kraft said:

“That’s just a ‘yes sir, no sir’ mentality with coach at this point,” Kraft said. “You want to obviously keep the ball in the offense’s possession as long as possible. Bus fine, in my opinion. Whatever.”

What’s a “bus fine?”

“Throwing somebody under the bus, which he did just do that to me,” Kraft said lightheartedly.

Also, it sounds like Mecole Hardman hasn't been getting any separation and he muffed a punt. I wonder how likely it his that he'll make the roster.

Heres what I dont get about that.

He's upset because defenders are allowed to punch at the ball but he isnt allowed to stiff arm............

Well doesn't that then mean there's not a lot of an excuse to not have both arms wrapping up the ball?.............

Damn right MLF should read the riot act

Watson sits out til some after the cut down to 53, and then he gets activated? Then, Gute sees if he can slide a starting grade WR to the PS? Or is that getting to smoke and mirrors cute?

0% chance he makes the roster after the draft unless they have injuries.

I forgot the injury rules. If he stays on PUP through the final cut how long does he have to sit out before he can be activated? And if we put him on the 53 and then on the IL how long does he have to sit out.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I enjoy watching a little of family night just to see my guys out on the field. But I probably won't watch very long.

PUP is 6-9 weeks
IR is 4 weeks and can be activated at anytime

It will give a good indication of where they think he really is. I'm guessing PUP, I can't imagine he's really back by the end of September. It would be great though. Healthy Watson, Doubs, Reed and Golden. Plus Kraft. Plus Jacobs. WhoooooHooooo. They aren't all going to get enough catches to stay happy, especially with looming contract decisions to be made. Should be interesting.

PUP is my guess as well, and then they'll work him in slowly. But the 2nd half offense has a chance to be great if the key guys can all stay healthy

They are counterfeits You're ordering from China. About $50 with shipping and it will take a few weeks. I'm not judging, buy counterfeits if you want,

Yeah - Rather just snag the $130 Nike ones from Kohls and walk away with a real jersey and some Kohls cash.

Them kohl's ones are worse quality than some of the knock offs.

ESPN ranks the Packers coaching staff 10th

10. Green Bay Packers
Head coach: Matt LaFleur
Offensive coordinator: Adam Stenavich
Defensive coordinator: Jeff Hafley
2024 ranking: 8

I feel bad about the Packers being this low. LaFleur had one of his better seasons as an offensive coach in 2024. The Packers endured an early-season Jordan Love injury with a creative offense under Malik Willis and kept the running game chugging as Love slowly worked his way back to full health. And after years of beseeching them to make a defensive coordinator change, they finally did -- to good effect! Hafley made the climb from college to NFL handily, showing more schematic creativity than was expected of him in the process.

Two key coaching points give me pause in Green Bay. It ended the season dead last in defensive success rate against dropbacks but second in EPA per dropback faced. How? Tons of interceptions. The Packers ripped off 17 picks, tied for third most in football, and recovered 14 fumbles. They finished third in defensive EPA on takeaways (behind Denver and Buffalo), and though I don't think their defense was poorly coached by any stretch, it probably punched above its weight last season.

The second is Green Bay's performance against elite teams. It ended the season 1-5 in its division (beating only Chicago on a game-ending field goal block) and lost to the Eagles twice, including in the playoffs. The best defensive coordinators -- Vic Fangio, Brian Flores and Aaron Glenn -- were able to flummox Love and expose that opportunistic defense. Green Bay's staff never found a solution as the season went on.

This is still a good staff, and I have faith in their continued growth into a playoff contender. But I need to see it first.

Ranked ahead of us 1-9: Vikings, Chiefs, 49ers, Ravens, Rams, Broncos, Bills, Eagles, Raiders

Brett and Sterling will always be 1 of my biggest ‘what ifs’. Great moment for Sterling, he deserved it years and years ago. His #84 jersey was the 1st jersey I ever had as a kid. What a phenomenal football player he was.
