Like us...happy with those moves, but feel like more should have been done

Sounds about right.

We have essentially added 2 pieces to our postseason bullpen. People seem to overlook that the Bieber trade will inherently strengthen our playoff middle and long relief, and might help for better slotting of Little and Yariel.

At least one more mid/high leverage reliever would be nice.

I’ll be honest, I don’t trust Hoffman as the closer… I feel like we should’ve gotten another elite bull pen arm that could take Hoffmans role. We struck out on all the elite closers in the market and that’s crazy. David Bednar to the Yankees is ****.

And bieber has been great in the past but coming off of Tommy John, this is the guy we’re banking on? Thought we’d go after someone that has been pitching well THIS season… oh well jays deadline just as meh as jays offseason I guess. Hopefully it al works out

Go look up Jose Bautista's reaction to the trade deadline in 2014 if you want to see

Yup.

Adding 1 more closer would just be ideal as it pushes.everyone down a spot.

That Wagner deal had to be a set up deal to a real deal.

Come on...make the team better!

Credit to the Yankees for getting Bednar. What they gave up was very reasonable also. Not sure why the Jays could not match something similar? Disappointing to lose out on him.

I just can’t believe we’re sitting atop the standings and we didn’t go hard for some elite pitching and difference makers. I mean where’s the right hand bat they kept talking about even

Maybe the Pirates valued those prospect more higher. Sometimes teams have their own internal rankings for farm systems.

I don't trust him at all. He gives me Romano vibes. Might get a save but first he gives up 2 singles in a 1 run game.

They don’t believe in making incremental improvements from an odds perspective, trust in the analytic process

Yankees just got Doval, they are so much better than us (with a far better FO too)
