.Listen the fact they got him locked up is a big plus. I wasnt sure if he wanted to stay or if he was going to demand a huge deal 4yrs 150 is under 40 a year...I absolutely would have traded him for the right superstar...but having an ironman guy like this locked up for 4 years..I like it.

You also could trade OG/Hart if the right star became available too.

I also would have no issue if they make their final move bringing back DDV. That infinite 3 ball is a very unique dynamic.

Lol I mean chances are slim but OG/Hart/Kolek/Dadiet , 2026 1st round pick, multiple 2nd picks could still maybe get us Giannis if he asked specifically to come here.

Agreeing to a deal with Bridges very likely means Giannas is unavailable and/or not interested (from us or him).

Or Bucks want OG more and with Yabu and Towns and then Giannis they feel like they got the PF position covered. Bridges is a really strong defensive 2/3 in theory.

You could argue it a few ways but Bridges might be a better pairing with Giannis than OG.

They are going to want to get a bank of unprotected FRP. At least 2. We can argue that unprotected 2032 swap is worth something, but it's a stretch.

yeah the only realistic way i see a giannis trade happening is sending kat or brunson out and letting them flop them for picks if they’d like

The only way to get Giannis with JB and KAT is to be willing to deal Bridges and OG. At that point we are trading away our valuable 3-D pieces for a 30 year old +defensive player/superstar who can't shoot. Basically a tall Josh Hart.

KAT plus assets is probably the easiest way to get Giannis. Turner fits so well with him that I would wonder if we can offer more (KAT + OG who also play well together) for Giannis/Turner.

all this Giannis trade talk happening here and I feel like I'm the only one expecting the Knicks and Bucks to meet in either the Semis or Conference Finals next year

Kuzma is the only guy on their team kind of holding them back, but he is tradeable

Yeah they’ll be very good and he’s really going to be a pain. At this point, I don’t fear any team though. We may lose to another good team at some point, and it could even be the first round, but at the same time this team really has the potential to make a very deep run.

Current line-up and approximate minute allocation:

C Mitch(25), KAT(15), Huk(8)
PF KAT(17), Yabu (20), OG (11)
SF OG(21), Hart (20), Yabu (5)
SG Bridges (32) , Hart (5), McBride (11)
PG Brunson (33), Clarkson (15)

McBride and Clarkson really don't have a ton of minutes available to them unless you drastically reduce Harts minutes.

And the Ben Simmons continued interest is odd at best unless its a pre- cursor to another trade.
