Psyched. Loved Octopath Traveler 2. Never finished it because it's an absolutely massive game but I got close.
Watching this video reminded me how much I loved games like Breath of Fire back on SNES

BF6 looks good except for the fact that there appears to be little to no recoil on the guns.

I've dove back into Satisfactory with 1.1 having come out. I'm a sucker for factory games.

I decided to build some "nicer looking" things in game, and this is my first go:

Damnit you’re gonna make me wanna play again. I stopped shortly after making my first large-scale power plant in 1.0. That game is such a blast.

That game needs to come to console already. Looks rad as hell.

This is the first playthrough which I got to the final phase and mk 6 belts.

Built a massive train system and really enjoying just slowly building massive factories

I was having too much fun with No Man's Sky's build and crafting system and quit a few months ago. That definitely seems like something I'll need to check out.

Learning to use the blueprint system well has also helped me change what I think of as "Large scale".

I just built more power (~160 MW, 280(!!)Rocket Fuel burners) and while it's blocky and ugly, I was able to do it in a couple hours of build time - break time getting collectables while I waited for more mats to upload to the dimensional portal.

I think this was the next step I never took. After I built my first big plant I thought - fun, but I need to learn blueprints or I’m never doing this again. But then something else came out and I started playing something else.

The 1.1 improvements look awesome. Elevators transferring power between levels seems particularly game changing for me.

Very, very early on in Wuchang but the combat feels very satisfying so far.

Elevators, Shmellevators.

Clip a power pole in the support beams, and run power vertically. Have it pop out to a wall mount. :)

This sounds great but it's about 7 levels beyond my knowledge  You drug me back in, though. I just restarted last night. Determined to go further this time around. I started in the beginner biome my first playthrough, but I picked the desert this time and was astonished that the first two nodes I found were both pure :D

Wuchang is boring me a bit so I fired up Claire Obscur and started NG+. For such an incredible, damn near perfect game I really wish the developers had done something interesting with the mode once you start over. I took the time to grind to max level and find every available skill in the first go around, and now my party is impossibly OP. On the highest difficulty I'm not sure I could lose if I tried. Seeing all the scenes with the characters is still charming, but this will probably be a one night revisit.
