So Lakers just come into this deal and steal value?

Basically.

If Sacramento was willing to give up a haul like that for Kuminga, the deal would have been done already.

If the Kings were willing to do this, the deal would be done and the Lakers would not be involved

Value is closer to a Trey Murphy or Herb Jones deal than a Kuminga deal

Feels light for the Lakers. Going to need a 1st from the Warriors too. I mean they're in the NBA as well as the Kings right?

This is totally ridiculous and the Lakers have no place in a deal that pretty clearly can be done between GSW and Sac without any other team or using a cap space team with a sweetener for them to eat salary.

Thats NOT the Lakers and I can’t ever see two teams that both hate them letting them steal value.

This should be locked.

I do think that a 3rd team is needed in a GS/Sac Kuminga deal in order to turn Monk and likely some incentive into a playable rotation option for GS (a big forward being the main clear need) and ideally save money as well (keeping the deal so that GS isn't 1st apron hard capped would really help).

Here the Lakers take all the incentive (both Ellis and a 1st) and return only non-rotation flotsam.
