I just want to say Lamar > Allen

But also I am not sure how you have Bryce Young even sniffing a top-10 list. Is this just a prediction thread of who you think *WILL BE* top-10 this during this season?

Drake Maye too...wtf lol

Honestly, now just looking over stats again and rehashing 2024. I think Lamar Jackson has a real argument for #1 overall. Above Mahomes.

Lamar threw 41 TDs, and only 4 INTs which is nuts. And then in addition to that? ran for 915 yards and another 4 TDs

One of the greatest seasons ever and absolutely robbed of the MVP Award

I would put Burrow at 2.

1. Mahomes
2. Burrow
3. Jackson
4. Allen
5. Dak
6. Love
7. Goff
8. Baker
9. Herbert
10. Hurts

I did not put any 2nd year guys on here because even if they were good they need to show they can do it again.

Mahomes at 1 is crazy. Dude has been mediocre since Tyreke Hill left. Probably 4th on my list behind Jackson, Burrow, and Allen.

I'm not sure that Jordan Love has earned a top-10 spot either. He is knocking on the door, but not quite there yet

It's really not that crazy. I'm projecting for this upcoming season. If you want a 40 year old Matt Stafford or a choker in Dak running the show you have the right to select them.

Bryce clearly turned a corner last year with the worst (by far) receivers in the league. His receivers still suck but TMAC is at least an upgrade and they have a playmaker in ET Jr.

Burrow puts up huge numbers because his defense is awful and he has by far the best receivers in the league. Put Mahomes in that situation and he's throwing for 5500 yards.

You can’t be a top 10 QB in the NFL without ever taking a regular season snap.

For what it’s worth, I left all 2nd year guys off my list. You need to have more than 1 good season to be considered a top 10 QB in my book.

Bryce Young or Drake Maye finishing the coming season as a top-10 QB is a long shot.

I mean, it's possible. And if if happens you can bump this thread and show off your football IQ. But I do not think that will happen.

Mahomes and burrow for sure.
After that I'm goin Allen and Matt Stafford.
These 4 are single entities that can win you a game and with every gap covered. Every receiver covered. Every running lane closed up, they can manipulate 11 guys plus the defensive coach into looking lost as in wtf happened? As in no freaking way mahomes just made that play and won that game. Or several times, no way Allen pulled that game out. Or as the eagles can attest to, after dominating the game, no way Stafford is about to beat the eagles. These types of situations and more, are why these 4 guys are my.elites due to that type of impact.
For sure others are getting close to that type of Magic, but in my book these guys have IT

What's your Top 10?

Creating an accurate top-10 list, or one that I actually care about, would take some research and thinking, but I do think I can say right now the top-4 would be.

1. Lamar Jackson
2. Patrick Mahomes
3. Josh Allen
4. Joe Burrow

I think those are the top two tiers, with Lamar and Mahomes being the top tier. And then the 2nd tier being Burrow and Allen.

After that it gets a bit more difficult. And maybe I'll put forth the effort later in the week.

You didn't expect anyone to have your boy in the top 10 when he hasn't even played a down yet. Come on. :gossip:

Does the sophomore jinx invade Jayden Daniels like just about everyone else.

Based on contributing to winning, this is what I came up with after thinking about it for a day;

1. Showtime Mahomes. ( I mean, who wins more the past 8 years or so).
2. Joe Burrow. (Only QB in AFC that has beaten Mahomes in a playoff game besides Brady).
3. Josh Allen. ( Can't get by Mahomes in the biggest games but at least makes a couple AFC Championship games. Some can make a case that the coach
and teammates let him down in all but one of those situation).
4. Jaylen Hurts. ( Played in 2 super bowls, winning one. Pained me to post this one).
5. Matt Stafford. ( Besides Hurts, he is the only QB with a chip besides Hurts since Brady retired).
6. Lamar Jackson. ( When it comes to a regular season QB, is there a better one than Jackson and Mahomes).
7. Goff. ( This is where I have to put him if we are talking about winning. Got Rams to a super bowl and came up short last year. yes he played bad in
the NFC championship game, but come on guys, 9 starters where out on defense and he had to play from behind the whole game).
8. Jayden Daniels. ( Can't ignore what I witnessed from him last season).
9. C.J. Stroud. ( This is where I put CJ over some that may be more deserving in other's eyes. But at least I can say he has a playoff win under his belt
at a young age which is more than I can say about Dak Herbert).
10. Brock Purdy. ( What can I say. His numbers speak for themselves).
