To be fair, Hendrickson couldn't even fetch 1 first rounder and the past 2 seasons has probably been equal or better than Parsons at rushing the passer.Mamba Mentality wrote:Mr B wrote:Mamba Mentality wrote:Gonna state the obvious here...Jerry Jones is a **** moron. Micah should be paid top dollar at his position, he has been elite year in and year out and been the biggest ambassador for the franchise.
First I agree, Jerry Jones is a moron. Not for this though. Micah is going to get his money and he’s going to be the highest paid non-QB in NFL history. The question is will that be with the Cowboys.
The thing you have to keep in mind is that Micah doesn’t have a whole lot of leverage. The Cowboys can always just Franchise Micah. Any team that wants to trade for him will have to start the bidding at 2 FRP’s. You can pretty much also guarantee that he’s. Or being traded to the Commanders, Eagles, or Giants. Well I don’t know, I’d consider the Giants.
I imagine there are a handful of teams that would be willing to pay that price for someone in the peak of his career.

Honestly, it's absolutely nuts that Jerry let it get to this point.

Under the radar signing for sure. The thing is you can plug him into the LT or RT position and he’s equally effective

Depends on what they get in return. Mailata, DeJean, and 5 FRP’s should get the deal done:

Maybe being 4.5 years older plays a part but still.

Apparently he spent the first year off to heal his body. Then has spent the last year working out and preparing in case the NFL came calling. That doesn’t mean he will be good but at least he should be healthy and in shape.
