Toronto Blue Jays vs. Kansas City Royals, Aug 1-3

Post#1 » by JaysRule15 » Fri Aug 1, 2025 6:21 am

Royals have been decent lately, but this is a series we should win. Excited to be getting Varsho back soon too. Kirk and Springer should be good to go too sometime in this series.

Will be interesting to see the roster moves we make as everyone gets back.

They want Kirk to play a couple of games in Buffalo I think. So I’m assuming he won’t play in the series, returns game 3 at best

Hopefully Springer and Varsho are ready to go

Excited to see the improved bullpen!

Kirk can’t come off the IL until Sunday anyway, 7 day IL.

When is Varsho back? Also the new guys should be in town and active right?

Varsho is back, the new guys are active.

Springer has been moved to the 7 day IL for a concussion, another casualty of the disastrous Baltimore series.

Is that retroactive to a few days ago after he got hurt? Or is it from today forward?

France and Varsho in the lineup. Joey Lopes hitting 2nd! Crazy times, he's done well so far tho

Springer on IL is bad, hopefully it’s retroactive so he isn’t out for a full week.

This team really really needs him!

Loperfido was great for the month of July. He has earned his spot. He was hitting .396 over 53 AT Bats for July. It is a not a big sample size in the grand scheme of things, but he has earned the LF Starting Position for now.
