Newsmax mused about her being a victim in all this.

"...worst job report since the end of the pandemic "

It boggles the mind how many people ignored prior
history, ie verifiable facts, about 45's economic
performance as well as his personal financial wizardry,
to the extent that it was publicly disclosed. They
appeared to dismiss any notion that a black/indian
woman would do better.

Then there's the whole thing about the unpopularity
of all the rest of his policy agenda.

I'm sure there are those that will say good riddance.
But I seriously doubt it would be more than 10-20%
of the total population.

Trump's idiotic tariffs wars suck and he's going to start a recession

In the middle of a huge tech boom

Huge accomplishment to manage to sabotage this economy

Putin will be proud

Dems keep getting caught wrong footed on immigration. Immigrants with green cards don't vote, Hispanic citizens don't mind restrictive immigration policy. The victory here is that you can't kidnap people and disappear them overseas (assuming the scotus doesn't overturn it). That possibility should worry everyone, particularly Trump supporters. Remember the most vicious purges the Communist party carried out was of their own members.

The thing about Republicans is that they give zero phucks about fairness and honor, they are going continue punch Dems in the face with their brazen gerrymandering (Texas), Dems need to match Republican in this effort and disband commissions that tried to do the maps impartially.

Would you rather the economy continue to be strong?
The state of the economy (or the perceived state of the economy) seems to be the greatest factor in determining US elections.

It looks like D states are preparing to retaliate. Horrible that it’s come to this.
Of all the decisions of this garbage Supreme Court, the gerrymandering case has been the most disappointing to me. How they came to the conclusion that this is OK is incomprehensible.

Wow. Immense suffering against getting rid of Trump.

BTW, I don't necessarily know if the economy will fully tank given the Capex into AI. I do think we are headed for a bubble there and then it is going to be really ugly. But that might take years to play out.

The next POTUS is hosed.

The combined effect of gerrymandering and unlimited
campaign spending ie money = speech has led to
a deteriorating situation where broadly popular
things are blocked. Nothing really that new about
that but it's probably gotten worse in the last couple
decades.

Lots of Bubbas are still in disbelief and lying to themselves
that a mixed race partly/half black man couldn't possibly
be smarter than whoever their current great white hope might be. Many of them are still really angry about it.
