I'm cool with being patient. Ugh need to play good defence this 10th and see what happens. Varsho needs some time to get used to things, he's not great but hoping he'll be productive enough come playoff time. Loperfido is something else, happy to see but we need others to keep stepping up too

Loperfido isn’t what you want defensively, no

How about going to the bench instead? Use him as a Late Inning Defender, and occasionally starting against Righties. All the MVP jokes aside, the guy is a Black Hole in this lineup. How many other teams right now in the playoff hunt are going to automatically pencil in a guy hitting below .200, with his Strikeouts and poor on base? The answer is zero.

Hoffman's May scarred us. While I know you can't just eliminate a month as if it never happened, best thing to stay calm with Hoffman pitching is to ignore May ever happened.

In 37.1 innings excluding May
2.16 ERA
50 Strikeouts / 5 Walks
0.75 WHIP
19 Saves, 1 Blown Save

Taking out May he has been an extremely good pitcher.

Yeah worried the defence may not hold up but get a few outs here, if can keep it 1-2 still have a decent chance]

Get dominguez out though please

Dominguez doing his best impersonation of a Yankee reliever acquisition.

The fact that we still haven't seen him leads me to think something is off with him. Schneider will probably disclose it after the game.

Maybe the manager won’t forget that Yariel Rodriguez exists after this loss and has been great all season

If he’s hurt, that’s far worse than pure stupidity

Dominguez choking. Varland choked. So much for pitching depth
