Man this loss hurt a ton. It’s like they had to get rid of all the good vibes from a good trade deadline.

This deadline reminded me so much of that offseason when Knicks fans were praising Steve Mills for acquiring Kyle O'Quinn, Jarret Jack, Doug McDermott and Emmanuel Muddiay.

Got leftovers in the off-season, picked up a bunch of unwanted nobodies at the deadline.. this isn't how you build a good culture let alone win.

They all needed a diaper change after last night.

I don’t know if you can blame Boone for all of them choking. Even the new guy from the Rays was charged with an error.

If they can’t cut it, that’s on Cashman. One thing about these relievers…they’ve all dealt with adversity recently. Got sent to the minors or had a crappy month or whatnot. It’s also our team coaching staff to make sure they can cut it.

Cashman can go as well. I wouldn't be surprised if Hal finally wakes up if they either miss the playoffs or more likely have a first round exit in the playoffs. It's a shame they haven't built a better team around Judge with his prime years window closing.

My thought was that Cashman had to go with Boone, or nothing would change. I'm now thinking that even firing Boone would help. A new voice is needed in that clubhouse. One that doesn't act as if all is well as the ship takes on water.

The mental errors, bad base running, lack of focus - those absolutely partly, maybe mostly, are Boone's fault. However, I don't see it happening during the season, if at all. The Yankees organization is far too comfortable with the existing hierarchy.

Yea...I agree. Boone is really good with protecting this team with the pressure of NYC...but that type of Joe Torre protection only matters if the guys are actually doing their jobs. Unfortunately...they're not, and they haven't done it for over a year now. At the very least, Boone has to go, so they start taking their jobs seriously and know that their eff-ups have consequences. Shape up, or get out of here.

They clearly need a new voice in the dugout and locker room. Boone needs to go.

The players need to hold themselves accountable as well though. These guys continue to f*ck up and no one seems to care.

The team just isn't that good. And without Judge, it's a mediocre roster.

Yanks could have secured a 2nd star a long time ago, but they tied up money is washed up guys like Stanton, Donaldson, DJ etc etc etc.

They overachieved last year.

This year they are showing who they are: A sh*tty team, more or less.

We suck.

My feelings are hurt.

Edit: and then Jazz hits a 2 run blast. Nice.

Now they are down 7-3; resume hurt feelings.

The Yankees suck.

Maybe this freefall will finally get Boone fired.

Cashman is here until he dies of old age, unfortunately many years away.
