Can't really see him making a noticeable jump next season cause of the injury.

Eh he said he’s currently at 90. Lee said last week he looked amazing. He’ll be alright I think.

I've had the injury he has. it sucks. it's not life-altering but it just takes an annoyingly long time to get all the way back to normal. for me it was like a year and a half before I had no pain. the area he injured (if I'm understanding it right) does not get a ton of blood flow so the body's natural healing process is stunted quite a bit. he should be able to function just fine, though. he just won't want to break his fall with that hand because it will hurt like a sumbitch.

Yikes this sounds more serious than I initially thought. Basketball is a contact sport at the end of the day. I hope he can fully recover it would suck if he reinjured that wrist by taking a hard fall or making contact with another player.

I don't want to overstate the seriousness. in the beginning yes it hurts like hell and your wrist gets stiff because you're babying it. the pain is situational, like when you put weight on it (or use it to break your fall). it's not like tender to the touch or anything. the thing that sucks is that the pain goes away very very gradually. you can pretty much live a normal life and then prop yourself up in bed or something and ow

i think the trade off is that he's spent A LOT of much-needed time working with his off hand. It does suck that he's lost so much time, but there's definitely a possibility he comes out of it a better ball handler and finisher if his right hand does get back to 100%. I'm more disappointed that he likely hasn't been able to do much upper body strength training on those twiggy arms

being a natural optimist and a Charlotte Hornets fan is such a curse, isn't it lol

I love how Miller brings his best to everything. Great young man, has character, work ethic, focus. His parents say he’s looking super good in his workouts!
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

To the Charlotte Observer article talking about his camp, the video and interview he had on there. It was referenced by a post here with a link to it (via X) but apparently is gone now.

Wish he was the PG 2.0 two way all star wing who opposing fans all seem to think he is, and not the player who we’re all worried he actually is.

Lowe isn’t wrong. Easy to forget with his season being cut short that Brando averaged 21 pts nearly 5 rebs and 4 assists prior to that injury. Still only 22 yo. We need him to be HIM. Expect a Year 3 breakout.

Miller can be a star, but we have to trust him with the ball. Right now he's just a shooter. What happened to his mid range game last year?

Lee has to do a better of getting him involved and not just chucking 3's.

I've pointed this out before, but his shot diet changed only by shifting 10% of his midrange shots to 3s.

This narrative that he had a radical change to his shot diet last season doesn't seem to be accurate.

You just said his shot diet changed by 10% from midrange to 3's.

It changed doesn't matter if it's radical or not. It's fine to disagree but you're basically proving my point by noticing the minimal change. :D
