If it was trading 3 rotational pieces.. I would have a hard time thinking we can win this way. Last year shows that we need depth or a coach that plays their depth.
BTW, if y'all gatekeeping on who should not be on the Knicks because of your personal feelings, I need to ask of your age. There are some fans that has never seen a title in NYC and they are about to retire. That's a fcked up feeling to be a Knicks fan that you are okay with a purity ring then winning one. We're not the Celtics and Lakers to be picking and choosing which ring weighs more. FCK THAT, I just want a fcking title in this town IN MY LIFETIME.
F@ck that....we can get that ring without being Lebron's bandwagon bail out plan. I'm a Knickfan first, if all I cared about was rings I would just pick the favorites (like OKC ) and ride with that team. Or I would root for non competitive ring chasers like Lebron to team up with Jokic and root for the Nuggets.
I do not want him on the team to advance his BS brand, and steal credit from the players that built the team up to where it is, who want the big shot, who play defense.... That said from a basketball point of view...it could sense if he's bought out. As long as he doesn't play is usual ego games, coach killing tactics, and fake political stances.
A guy like Giannis, sure, he's a competitor through and through...a great fit as a Knick imo
