The debate isn’t really about whether LeBron signs, it’s about whether him joining turns this into another “ring-chasing” move that cheapens the title.

Winning an NBA title is the 2nd hardest in all of sports. If you don’t have a top 3 player that season, plus depth and a good dose of luck, you’re not even in the conversation. So if LeBron and every ring chaser out there who wants to jump on the bandwagon and help us get this title? I’m all for it.

There are always lines that I won't cross to watch the Knicks win a title, Lebron ring chasing isn't one of them.

I'm curious, what are some lines you won't cross to watch the Knicks win a title?

I'm curious as to what the contenders are. Winning the Champions League is, I suppose, your number 1. But what is 3? IPL? ???

No player should purposely hurt another one and especially not try to Embiid break his foot.

Off-court issues such as rapists, murderers etc. but lets say Lebron had Marcus Morris allegations.. I don't know.

Its sad but look at Lakers fans with Kobe's off-court issues.

If a player's rap sheet is clean outside of the locker room... I don't have any issues with anyone unless you have something good that I didn't see.

Depends on the price. If the question is do I want James, who still is at minimum a top20 talent in the league, for free, then the answer is hell yes I want!

Lebron has won a championship for every team he’s played on.

He comes here under the right circumstances I think he can do that here too. I don’t think they can trade for him but he might go YOLO this upcoming offseason.

Already got enough players that need the ball in their hands while not being good on defense

Bad fit IMHO, even if there was a buyout

i agree with this. The fit is questionable at best. And while his defense is defintiley not what it once was i think he could do something for us on that end, that we dont really have. Hes a good communicator and i can see him as a defensive anchor. but yea, we cant really afford to have bad rim protection behind brunson and he cant cover for KAT. So yea, lebron kinda has no place on this team.

Mitch has the rim protection but and a great nack for rebounds so hes definitley a better choice to anchor the defense but is he really someone that communicates well? i actually dont know.
