Re: OT TV and Movies (Please use spoiler tags)
Saw that the early reviews for The Naked Gun reboot were 100%. Maybe the film is dramatically different in tone and humor than the trailer would indicated because the trailer itself is awful. I like Akiva so I'll probably give it a go and because I miss movies like this where they just line up bit after bit non stop.
Do it for Chuck

Re: OT TV and Movies (Please use spoiler tags)
I haven't seen it yet but the type of humor in Naked Gun isn't for everyone. I thought the original movies were great as was the short lived TV series but some of my friends didn't get the humor and thought they were dumb.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Rewatched The Naked Gun tonight and it was great. But rewatched Airplane after and it's on another level. One of the funniest movies ever, easily.

Laughed non stop at the new Naked Gun last night. It's better than the trailer might suggest.

Re: OT TV and Movies (Please use spoiler tags)
Speaking of the Rotten Tomatoes ratings, been watching reviews come in on Weapons and not only is it currently sitting at 100%, but if you actually look at the reviews themselves, they are pretty much all A's, 9/10's, 4 or 5/5's, etc. Sounds like an exceptional movie and after recently seeing Barbarian for the first time, I am very very excited.

ETa: could easily have been a movie in itself, and would've made it even better because we wouldn't have known who lived
Greenland is basically the movie version. Awesome flick.
Released straight to streaming during covid i think so it went under the radar but thats a good one for sure

I liked the first one and I like Gerard Butler.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I saw the original movie but nothing since, that genre isn't my thing, but Noah Hawley and Timothy Olyphant will have me checking it out.

I've never been to a 10:00 am movie but nothing going on this morning so here I am at Naked Gun. $6 and free popcorn on Tuesday ($7 for a small drink though)

I was probably going to watch it but wasn't super excited. Then I think you posted the first trailer for it and I was absolutely blown away.

Tuesday movies (and some places have started doing Wednesdays too) are such a fantastic deal.

I started taking off of work a couple of hrs early to catch a matinee once every other week or so this summer with the very good release slate and it’s been amazing. Used to do it in grad school to take advantage of student Thursdays with marcus

Pretty funny. Not even 90 minutes. If you liked the originals you'll like this one

Finished Paradise. I liked the finale. Episode 7 was incredible, but 8 wasn't bad. I'm excited for 2026 now lol...
